  1. Knew about Jade. His wife is a friend of mines niece.
  2. Know that. There has been a few over the last 10 years. Jade, Tregonning, Andrew Aldridge, Andrew Bargh, off the top of my head.
  3. Wilson Dean came in on a 5 point average for Somerset along with Jake Allen. Todd Kurtz does hold dual citizenship. Would be eligible in my preferred team. Would have Kyle Newman, Dan Bewley And James Shane's also. Three Brits to go with both Kurtz brothers, Bellego and Anderson.
  4. Not sure then. Know was introduced into Wasps PL team on 3 point average. Was the Kiwi you are referring to Jade or Grant Tregonnig.
  5. First rode in National League for Newport. Was that not the criteria back then.
  6. Brady Kurtz: 7.65 David Bellego: 7.63 Kyle Newman: 6.31 Jonas B Anderson: 6.30 Todd Kurtz: 5.76 Leigh Lanham: 4.34 James Shanes: 2.00 Total: 39.99 Three Brits in the line up. Plus Kurtz Brothers have UK Passports.
  7. Skid Sprocket asked the question, what had the brothers done wrong, in an earlier post. My opinion was rejecting Ged Rathbone's offer was wrong (my opinion). I did not mention the name of which brother made the insults, as I thought it was not right. I stand by what I stated that one of the brothers made constant insults to riders. In particular Aaron Summers and Matej Kus.
  8. Were they not the one's that rejected Ged Rathbones's offer, of investment to the club. Also the younger brother's constant insults to riders, in front of supporters.
  9. Two in particular who were one track specialists. Seemond Stephens (Exeter), and Simon Walker (Somerset).
  10. Lambert missing meetings at the business time, proves costly for the Diamonds. Think Newcastle were most peoples favourites to win the play-offs. Well done Sheffield Select.
  11. The Promotion are a joke. No mention why Bellego and Skidmore were not riding. Do any Comets fans know. Ther was no preview of the meeting on the Bears official website or Facebook page.
  12. And more than likely. Never attended a speedway meeting in his/her life.
  13. Has Ged Rathbone got the begging bowl out to the Panthers fans. Monarchs Promotions usual practice.
  14. Lawson and Summers not the kind of riders in the big heats at the business end of the season.
  15. Shows the state the Sport is in. When riders like Kennett can't be bothered. Robbo was guesting for Newcastle at Redcar the night before. He is a lot older than Edward. Travel not an issue for him. Number 1s, should be setting an example. Our number 1 also did not make it St Boniface Arena, costing us an away win imo.
  16. Local rag confirming that Jye Etheridge to replace Simon Nielsen.
  17. During the close season. Angus Kix's Glamour League, in the Speedway Star.
  18. Don't want to get into a dispute over a topic which we have both got differing opinions on, which have been discussed since the start of the season on Bears Talk. The main problem is the signing of Bukhave in the first place. Think we both agree, that Havelock has dropped one almighty clanger in signing him. Panic and despair imo.
  19. So, who and when will a replacement be announced by Havelockl and co. Up to 7.59 available, for a replacement for Bukhave. Or if 2 changes were made, Bukhave and Nielsen, then up to 12.12. If club asset Rob Branford on 3.40 was to partner Payne at reserve. Then up to 8.72 for an outright number 1 for the under performing Bjerre. Have no idea who Havelock has in mind. He stated on local radio last Wednesday, that he was in discussion with 2 overseas riders, but would not divulge names, until an agreement was made. Given Havelock's track record on signing's since 2009, don't expect any one special. After all what homework was carried out on Bukhave, as his credentials back in Denmark are nothing to write home about.
  20. My apologies. League Cup count towards average. KO Cup don't. What an absolute shambles, this sport is in. And you wonder why attendances are dwindling.
  21. As an assessed new rider. Has Etheridge ridden sufficient home and away meetings "yet", to be replaced.
  22. Think Crescent Girl was referring to Dan Bewley.
