What The Visa Issues Could Mean For Teams.
mikebaker replied to doners1234's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Campton has done a helluva lot better in 2 seasons than riders like Dilger. He has been over here for ages, is absolute pants. Yet he is still allowed to prevent up and coming Brits a team place. -
You obviously have a man crush on Bunyan, because he is long past his best. His last decent season was 2009, when he finished with an 8.25 average with Stoke. Only did 5 meetings for the Potters in 2010, Out for the rest of the season injured. 2011 Plymouth, 4.74. Only 11 meetings there and out the rest of the season injured. 2012/13/14 at Rye and 5.14, 5.80 and 4.66. Explain how he is on a bargain average. One decent meeting last year guesting for Glasgow in there win at Derwent Park.

Kozza Smith is a hell of alot more entertaining than what Savalas Clouting was. -
As i have stated in s previous post. Cannot understand Aaron wanting a move to Ashfield. Has never excelled there imo.

Jesper Kristiensen perhaps. Averaged just over 6 in 2011 for the Devils.

Premier League 2015 Predictions
mikebaker replied to cambpanther's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Have Redcar, Workington and Scunthorpe pulled out of the Premier League for 2015. -
Why does Dilger keep getting fixed up, there are plenty of British youngsters worthy of a place.
-
Cannot get Aaron wanting a move to Ashfield. Has not a great record there.
-
Richard Hall's average is 4.28.

If Robert Branford is along side Edberg as reserves at Shielfield in 2015. Another loan fee to the Redcar Promotion.
-
My definition of a racer is someone who passes frequently, and are not reliant on there gating skills. Imo Lawson does not fit in that criteria.
-
Lawson is not a racer. Dam good gater mind.

Steen Jensen joined Berwick last year on his 2005 Isle of Wight average.

You are correct in that Robert rode a few meetings in 2010. I actually suggested him whilst at Newcastle for an away meeting. I had been monitoring his scores for Buxton. Was on the Southern tour when he rode at Somerset and Rye House in place of the injured Gary Irving. Correct he did the full season in 2011, and though he struggled mainly due to his poor machinery. Had a higher finishing average than Konopka. 2012, Robert did not complete half a season as you state. He only did 3 home meetings and 2 away. They were all in March. Meetings Robert competed in for Redcar in 2012 are in order of date. March 15th, Home v Newcastle LC 1 (3 RIDES) March 18th Away v Newcastle CH 3 (4 RIDES) March 22nd Home v Edinburgh LC 2 (6 RIDES) The meeting that ended Gary's career. March 29th Home v Workington LC 2 (4 RIDES) March 31st Away v Workington LC 1 (5 RIDES) Robert had already been replaced by Mark Jones. Jones was un-able to ride, so Robert still agreed to Ride after Havvy had dropped him. Mark Jones made his debut at Sheffield on Thursday 5th April. Jones retired and in came another astute Havvy signing Lee Smart. Then came another Havvy cock up, Rajkowski. Finally double change with Doolan and Mudgway.

Rob was dumped after a handful of meetings in 2012. The promotion said they would give him time. Konopka was given almost full season. Ironic, no wonder no one wants to be at the club. Time for the joke of a promotion to go.

Are you Garry May's "Lovechild". -
If there still is a Premier League in 2015, and if points limit remains at 42.50. Only Summers and Skidmore are worth considering from this years team, imo. Here is my preferred line up Aaron: 7.78 Kozza Smith:7.15 Hugh: 6.99 Ty Proctor: 6.27 Mathieu Tresarrieu: 5.44 Jack Holder: 5.00 Robert Branford: 3.00 Total: 41.63 Holder is a fantasy I know, but I can live in hope. Both Proctor and Matty Tres are still held in high esteem by a lot of Bears fans. Tres and Branford are club assets.

Peterborough Panthers 2014
mikebaker replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Dilger was pants during his 2 spells with the Monarchs. No better during his 2 seasons with the Bears. Far better options in the UK. Why do Promoters continue to go with useless foreign options, crazy. -
Thoughts On Your Team So Far
mikebaker replied to skoobie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That the Promotion at Redcar have got it horribly wrong with Konopka. Why is he still in the team. Back in 2012 Robert Branford was dropped, after a handful of meetings. Robert was a much better rider than Konopka. Bin Konopka and give young James Sarjeant a go. Season is over so give a young Brit a chance instead of a totally sub-standard Pole. -

Totaly agree with you Dave.Did it loads of times. Luckily no one seriously injured through his antics. Glad you noticed it to. I brought it up many times on Bears Talk Forum.
