  1. At least it was done in full view of fans and not behind closed doors
  2. I watched the Aussie meetings on bsn and I think Reid will do okay, he can gate, and is a racer, may need to calm himself a bit though. Will be an interesting watch. Disappointed that Jacob Hook does not have a place. We really need to stop losing riders that increase their average due to the team limits, it's always the 5 pointers that lose out.
  3. So premiership 2026 thread is pinned, are there no moderators for championship threads? Can we not get some new moderators in place ? On second look, it says 2026 but is actually 2024, what a farce this forum is becoming.
  4. I agree, I saw him remove his kevlars from his top half and he appeared to have good movement, a few scrapes on his arm, but I only reported what was said on the stream
  5. Fraser Bowes away to hospital, suspected broken collar bone, from live BSN Phil Crump classic meeting
  6. Why should championship change racenight to suit premiership, which would put most in financial difficulty. Not our fault Premiership is in the state it is in.
  7. You really are a troll, not 1 Glasgow fan has said we will win the treble
  8. He has been faithful to Glasgow and wants to stay until he retires. I think that constitutes faithful
  9. 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀’ ‘𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝘀’ 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲… 🐅The new recruits for next season will be revealed tomorrow morning. #WeAreGlasgow🔴⚪️Big team reveal tomorrow
  10. As a Glasgow fan, I think that is a very good team
  11. He got zero guesting for us at Glasgow
  12. You really are deluded. Bomber would always choose Glasgow first and as for finances, the Facennas have spent millions on Glasgow speedway, totally renovated the stadium, they sponsor team GB and other areas of speedway, they are planning another stand and hope to be able to get a GP at Glasgow. We have a young crowd with hundreds of kids each meeting. Yes we have the facilities for premiership speedway but will not change from a Friday night. We are now starting to make money which will be ploughed back into the club.
  13. I think you would find that Harris would choose Glasgow
  14. I agree Glasgow should be in top league as facilities are fab, but the Faccenas didn't make their millions by being stupid, they want Glasgow speedway to make enough to be sustainable, and we are finally getting the numbers required. Moving to Monday or Thursday with increased rider costs, would be financial suicide, we would lose so many families, we have at least 100 kids racing roary on a Friday night. Would need a very good tv deal or other sponsorship to tempt us up a league.
  15. Maybe they are going to save the premiership. If they do, then good luck to them. Championship then needs 2 home and 2 away, can't be having less meetings than this season.
  16. Glasgow do not want to change from Friday night racing, yes they have raced on other nights but we have hundreds of kids with their families, on a Friday, crowd levels drop for midweek meetings. Also our volunteers have stated that regular midweek meetings would affect their availability.
  17. I totally agree with you. The premiership is doomed as costs to run without major sponsorship is astronomical. Championship over last decade at least has and is the best competitive league
  18. No one will move up , rumour is Northampton will enter premiership
  19. Looks like it , as Dan T wanted to come back to Glasgow but didn't fit as his average is 8.75, looks like bomber is staying.Fans would have loved both back
  20. Assets no longer exist, riders are classed as self employed
  21. If rumours are true that only 1 rider with over an 8 average per team then Jeppesen wouldn't fit unless you dropped Richard, which is highly unlikely
