  1. Bomber has had a few difficult meetings this season, thankfully Kyle, Leon and Kevin going well, Sam did well at 2 at Scunthorpe, hopefully when Mario gets back, he will kick on at reserve, Freddie struggling, not sure we will make the play offs this year.
  2. Watched the stream v Glasgow, what a star you have in Ingram and you have a genuine no. 1 in Pickering
  3. Just watched this meeting, Leicester threw it away, but glad the foxes won, they need to dump Batch and sign Kerr
  4. He got paid 10 at Scunthorpe last week with Berwick and would likely score more than Mario even if he scores less
  5. Too late unless it has been done already, Sam goes in main body as of Friday with an average of 3.82 and Mario at reserve with 3.58 and Mario unavailable for our match at Scunthorpe, so need a guest at reserve.
  6. You have no idea about mental issues, absolutely nothing to do with feeling sad, anyway it is a physical issue with Craig at present.
  7. Don't think you need a ringer, Cairns and Rushen will win your trophies this year
  8. Sometimes a change is a good thing, he would get more than Mario anyway, but yes I would live another Nagel or Tarasenko but can't see that happening, we could sign Bartosz and Poole will still win everything if they stay injury free.
  9. I wouldn't be adverse to signing Simon in place of Mario, obviously would prefer another Villads,( but one who was available), but Simon could have some cracking meetings,he is very much a team man, yes he might have an odd duff meeting, but to me Mario does not look interested, and a change for Simon could give him a boost. Let's face it , he would do a lot better than Mario at present.
  10. You seem to have some beef with Greg, have some grace, I find him entertaining, especially on bsn, however at Berwick , I cannot comment as couldn't hear a thing on the back straight when there with Glasgow.
  11. I agree that Plymouth are definitely stronger with r/r for Grmek, we would have been stronger with r/r for Mario if we had made Mario the stronger 5 than Kevin
  12. That is a shame for Jack, not easy to come back from something like that. Look how long the incident with Cookie's bike and the photographer affected him.
  13. Flint has been flying so far and would score more than Nick, especially at Ashfield, Nick seems to start meetings slow and then gets the pints that he should, a little like KJP who tends to have a poor first ride, then gets the set ups for his following rides
  14. The guest situation is frustrating. Probably won't find out who is guesting officially until Friday.
  15. So KO cup this weekend with the long haul to Plymouth for both teams on Saturday. Been a long time since Glasgow have done well in this cup. Friday and Saturday we are without Mario and Leon as both on SEC qualifier duties. Guests or guest and r/r required. Mario not at Plymouth is probably a bonus after his exploits at Armadale but Leon is definitely a huge miss for both legs. I hope Cammy has some reliable guests booked. We seemed to have problems with guests last year underperforming. Plymouth have a strong team this year and it will be tough to overcome them over the 2 legs. No tac subs allowed and our reserves are not on form yet.
  16. Berwick deserved the win and I don't think they will lose at home. For Glasgow to get the bonus with only 3 riders performing, was a feat in itself. Bomber had probably his worst meeting in a long time. Jury is out on Mario, not sure how much time he will be given. Leon , Kevin and Kyle were the main stay and deserve applaud. Disappointed with Freddie and Sam, thought they would have done better. Reid Battye take a bow, he was exceptional, r/r strengthened the bandits. They look like play off contenders this season.
  17. I would say crowd slightly down from the usual but still ok, the rain all week and the forecast probably kept some away. But our diehards that come from far afield made the journey. Aberdeen, Greenock, Pitlochry, Stirling etc, they all made the trip down.
  18. Heat 15 was torrential rain, how they managed to actually race was amazing as track was under water at that point, rest of the meeting was OK, just that last race.
  19. What a fantastic meeting, credit to both teams for puting on a show in tricky conditions, Bomber and Kyle doing some mental moves. Heat 15 in torrential rain they were still racing and passing to get the 5-1, not sure how they managed to stay on, very few gate and go races. Hopefully a good match tomorrow at Shielfield, with Bomber doing bomber things, and at least a bonus point to the tiggers.
  20. Hopefully this goes ahead, should be close, we Know that Kevin goes well but first time for Mario, will he fair better than at armadale? Although armadale is tough for most newbies.
  21. Was a fair result, Cluff looked like a novice as did Mario, Dan will be a good number 1 and his exploits in heat 15 nearly gave the Monarchs the win, he never gives up.
