  1. Can't believe no one has started this thread. The scorpions are formidable at home and have 2 potential reserves and the tigers generally struggle at th EW raceway, however we did do well in the pairs, our top 4 are on good form but Ashton and the 2 reserves are struggling a bit. I hope we put up a good fight and it is good viewing on bsn, unlike last night's gate and go borefest on a very slick track
  2. Stewart said on bsn that he set the track for home advantage as the Lions had to win, was way to slick for the stars and a borefest for tv, especially after the excitement of the British final
  3. Glasgow adopted the kids race from Plymouth, they did it first and hats off to them as it has increased family attendance at both our tracks, when we started it there were lots of moans from old guard fans but to see that amount of kids at speedway can only benefit clubs as they are the future
  4. Can you get someone from championship that is on an assessed average? Victor would definitely be worth a punt if you can
  5. Glads are stronger with Bomber at 1, is Klindt racing in Denmark tonight?
  6. Same in west of Scotland, Berwick colder, Glasgow wetter
  7. Well off to my second trip to Armadale to follow the tigers, tac subs allowed in this event, if needed, however with Victor at reserve and can have 7 rides the pressure is on Glasgow , hopefully it will be an exciting and close match
  8. Surely Nathan Ablitt is worth a shot for Plymouth, good to see Ben Trigger doing well
  9. I thought this match could have gone either way before it started, I wasn't confident of a Glasgow win, however the boys dug deep and Ashton and Leon still not firing but was an improvement from last weekend. Our top 3 is fab, very strong 1 and 5 and could beat most other 1 and 5's. Take a bow Max Perry, he was sensational, fought for every point and deserved man of the match. The bandits were unlucky a few times and will do better once dialled in. Drew Kemp has improved immensely and I wasn't upset that my favourite rider won heat 15, Cookie is still my fave and I hope he has a great season. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable meeting.
  10. Looking forward to this weekend, Berwick stronger than we have seen for a long time, we need to improve from last week, think it will be a close one both at Glasgow and at Berwick on Saturday
  11. Well done Monarchs , deserved the win, we were a 3 man team, although max Perry was better than his score suggested
  12. I know all the things he does and my grandson does the same and he almost committed suicide but was found before he could do it, the symptoms of adhd are not just hyperactivity, there are massive negative symptoms, you are judging Craig by what he does, and I get that is what you see, but you don't see the turmoil that causes his actions, try and be kind instead of crucifying anyone on social media
  13. That is a disgusting post, uou have no idea about mental health, I was a psychiatric nurse until I retired last year and I can assure you that a huge percentage of people with mental health problems use drink or/and drugs to deal with it , Craig has admitted to having ADHD, which my grandson also has and , they can be ok one day and head fried the next, I hope you or your family never have an issue with your mental Health, we certainly don't want another Paul Fry or Danny Ayres
  14. I agree, didn't realise the difference in temperature , was wondering why Roy was saying the weather was wonderful and We were absolutely frozen in the back straight seating area, I will remember that next time I go to Workington
  15. Dan is fine, did press and practice at Glasgow today and is on his way to Armadale for tonight's meeting
  16. Friday, I believe before they head to Armadale
  17. So first meeting for the Scottish contingent of the league, Re- introduced Scottish cup. Will be interesting to see how both teams get on, some Glasgow riders have had some races under their belt and are looking good, Sedgy has had an outing but unsure about the other Monarchs, Victor has been over here before so knows what to expect, will be interesting to see how their other newbies fare. Looking forward to going to armadale on Friday, hope the weather plays fair, forecast ok at present. As for prediction, I think it will be a reasonably close encounter but obviously hoping for a Glasgow win.
  18. He was asked by Poole, I believe but chose us, so glad he did , look forward to seeing him step up a gear at Glasgow, like Brennan did at Poole after being with us
