  1. And so speaks Berwicks own spin doctor
  2. Not been here for a while but I find it strange there's been no mention of the rumours going around town about some members of the consortium pulling out. I heard the other day it was 3 of them. Lets hope this is all it is a rumour
  3. I hear that Edinburgh have Liam Carr as a guest at number 7
  4. Will there be updates for this meeting
  5. Sky are selling from a stall on the market today with tv playing sky programs could have been near them handing out flyers
  6. I see from Facebook Ben has said he is back on his feet, which is great news, but he also says he has to wear a brace for the next 12/14 weeks. That means he's out for the season I think with this news a new rider will need to be signed. Who's out there that could do a job for us
  7. Yup could say that As for the parade think about it new rider never been on track before do I need say more
  8. The man with the mix needs to remember he is there to inform
  9. I think you might find there was an underlying reason for the bikes on parade
  10. Shade a monarchfan??????? You ain't even in the right country
  11. I don't know exactly how much it would cost for a pitch on the market but I think it would be about £50 te caravan sites in the area ok we have the two big ones at Berwick and haggy but in a 20 mile radius we have a fee more east ord, spittal, barmoor, waren mill, bradfod kaimis, budle bay, eyemouth coldingham, scoutscroft and I'm sure I'll have missed some these are the places that should be targeted especially as s lot of these sited have owned csravans that people come to most weekends. I remember a family coming to the track one night about 3 years ago coz they heard the bikes they had just bought a van on ord and wanted to find out what was going on and they became regular attendees after that
  12. The posters should be capitalising on the 6-10 thousand visitors we get into the area each week
  13. Yes and rocky has done a lot for both the club and riders in the past when he was fitter. So that was a bit of a foot in the mouth moment from biged therefore
  14. Whilst Berrington wad a super little track I think today its location and access would cause major problems today.
  15. But the reason we moved was the promotion stated that if they stayed there they would go bust in a year so it was shielfield or no speedway
  16. Actually the original colours for the bandits was black and yellow it only changed to gold recently
  17. At least taffy rants to your face not from the safety of a keyboard
  18. If he knew anything about speedway in general he would know that George is very well respected in the speedway world and he keeps putting out good teams
  19. Ok I don't often post on here but I would just like to make a couple of points. 1. At the moment the crowds are no way bigger than the football and maybe if the speedway said what the crowd was like the football does we would know. 2. The improvements on the crowd side of the fence are down to Berwick rangers supporters club not the speedway. 3. In all walks of life there will be people who are never happy 100% of the time speedway is no different and there is also a lot of people who moan for moanings sake, but I think you will find a lot of the people who moan and complain at Berwick are loyal supporters who have followed the team all over the country for years and turn up week in week out and pay there money to way h their team
  20. The main problem in Berwick is the fact that the nearest A&E is 50 miles away. When we had an a&e here st johns used to supply 2 ambulances every race night and this worked fine. You can't compare Berwick to Newcastle because the RVI is only 10 mins away I don't know what the answer is I wish I did
  21. Just going by what his dad said 2 weeks ago
