The crowd on Saturday was very poor and if it don't improve I can see the writing on the wall. I think the main reason was the 2 previous meetings when defeat was snached out of the jaws of victory. Lets hope we we don't get a night like that again with machinery problems and now we have a full team things have got to get better surely

OK you are in bussiness, yes thats what speedway is, and your product is not selling what do you do put the price up or improve the product. Option 1 put the price up well if you cant sell it at the present level how does this help because if there is a problem with the productputting the price up will tip the balance the wrong way Option 2, improve the product so people buying your product will recomend it to others and maybe they will try it and buy it. Its a sad state of affairs but in all sport now you need some form of sponsorship to survive, lets face it if it wasn't for sponsorship and the TV money football would be dead, because I think its safe to say that without a sponsor coming on board it could well be the end of the Bandits

I see biged is off in his make belive world again the 3rd bend IS NOT wheelchair accessible you have steps to get up also you cant get from the pits elf and safety would not allow it, also if the person in the wheelchair needed the toilet the disabled one is on the 1st bend. There is a wheelchair area on the 1st bend put up bt BRFC supporters club for the football and it gives quite good views of the action in fact there are few regs that use it all the time. Now we move onto price you say £20 for adults so it would be £40 for a couple with maybe food and a drink and a prog on top of that it would come up to £60 I'm sorry you just don't live in the real world. proves one thing to some on here if the promotion say it its right if they said the moon was made of cheese they would ask for a slice

so the riders don't know about tracks and tell me who is it that goes out week after week and puts their life at risk on the track oh yes the riders. You will also find that in some countries the riders learn track prep as part of their apprenticeship, this doesn't happen in this country but maybe it should. Have you ever been on a bike on a speedway track bit different from a tractor. What we need at Berwick is a track that the riders like and it stays the same so the home riders don't waste time having to work out the set up needed this can mean a few points in the 1st races as the away team are working things out.

What is needed at Berwick is a consistant track so the home riders know what set up's they need on their bikes right from the off, but it still needs a little bit of something to give us that home advantage. talk to the riders an try and find a happy medium that will suite them all coz a happy team is a winning team

It was a good meeting last night all the riders doing their bit and scoring, It will be interesting to see how things go with a full team, surely it can only be better. It was good to see some real team riding on track with Kennet seeing Barret home and not leaving him to fend for himself. Remember one swallow dont make a summer but on last night showing the nights are getting longer.

If I remember at one time if 2 teams had r/r they canceled out each other and they had to promote their number 8. I may have this totaly wrong I wait to be told

I see on the club website that Kennet is going to leave 2 bikes up here and fly up as it will be as cheap as an 850 mile round trip in the van. This sounds like a good idea as he aint goimg to be knackered after a long drive.

Well said that man I know we all have different ideas and views, hell the world would be boring if we didnt, but I think we all agree on ONE thing and that is we all want speedway at Berwick in 2013 and for tears after that. So come on lets stop this blooming points scoring and get behind the promotion and see if we can save Berwick Bandits,

Dont know if this would work, but what about a share issue, this was done once before at berrington and it raised some money which helped build the track. I agree with WJM ordinary fans wont have the contacts to find a sponsor for the team but we can help keep things going if a new main sponsor is found,I like the idea of a reward card getting a stamp on a card everytime you come to the speedway, maybe it could be like coffe shops certain number of stamps = 1 free entry. Also why not try and get a team of volenteers together and take a stand at all the local shows and promote the Bandits at these.

Well thats the season over, thank god I hear a lot of people cry, just the dance on Friday night. Lets hope there may be some good news at that but maybe its a bit quick, but lets hope something is sorted out sooner rather than later. I see Berwick Rangers are at home on the 9th March as well, that could be interesting for getting the track prepared

This could have been interesting if all riders said they were on strike over a pay dispute this action by the ref would have been illegal
