  1. What was wrong with Hans again last night, he refused to come out on the victory parade.
  2. Should be a close entertaining meeting, Coventry to win by 4
  3. well that's not good, could be a tight meeting now.
  4. Nothing wrong with his bikes during guest appearances.
  5. Cheers, i still think we could win going with Morris.
  6. Any thoughts on a potential available guest for Hans.
  7. Well there is a good chance of it being wet by the looks of it.
  8. Can't see anything other than a home win, with or without help from our no1
  9. I thought he would start to move forward more quickly once he got the Bees meeting out of the way where he had his accident.
  10. Monday we were weakened by a woeful display from our heat leaders and a hot headed reserve.
  11. The thing is it's not just an off match as you put it.
  12. So can our so called No1 but not much has been said about that.
  13. Why is Robbo supposedly fighting for his job, i would be looking at our so-called no1!
  14. DAN STANDS IN Monday April 27, 2015 COVENTRY have booked in-form Storm rider Dan Greenwood to guest for their senior team in tonight’s Elite League clash at Wolverhampton. Greenwood, who has scored 15-point maximums in each of his last two matches for the Storm including in yesterday’s win at Buxton, comes in for James Sarjeant who is ruled out after a crash at Glasgow. Sarjeant was released from hospital with no broken bones but has to sit out the meeting at Monmore, and he is currently ranked 11th in the Tier 2 reserve list. Greenwood has been in outstanding form in all of his National League appearances this season and also won a race at Premier League level at Somerset on Friday.
  15. Well this has the potential to be a tough meeting for the bees, but i think the reserves will just swing it for us and lets hope Hans doesn't do a repeat following his previous guest appearance for Swindon.
  16. FRIDAY PREVIEW - BEES v BELLE VUE Thursday April 23, 2015 TABLE-TOPPING Coventry bid to extend their advantage when they face Belle Vue in the Elite League at Brandon on Friday (7.30pm). The Buildbase Bees are set for a big welcome back from their home supporters after their emphatic win in Manchester on Monday, which followed on from a similarly impressive triumph at Poole last week. And another three points in the return fixture against the Aces will put Coventry in an extremely strong position at the start of a busy fortnight of racing. But boss Gary Havelock is guarding against complacency as the Bees take on a Belle Vue team who may well provide a stronger threat at Brandon than on their own circuit. Bees have proved over recent visits that Kirkmanshulme Lane is one of their favourite away tracks, but the Aces have re-loaded with Coventry track specialists for Friday, who will certainly pose a challenge. The visitors bring in former Bees duo Grzegorz Zengota and Kyle Howarth to replace the injured Simon Stead and the unavailable Craig Cook. Zengota was Coventry’s Rider of the Year in the difficult 2013 campaign, whilst Howarth rode for the club last season and made a successful return by winning the British Under-21 Final at Brandon last week. Add in the top two of skipper Scott Nicholls, who led the Bees to the Treble in 2007, and Matej Zagar who on his night is one of the best visitors to Brandon, and a close contest could well be in prospect. Havelock said: “I feel Belle Vue have been very smart with their choice of guests for this meeting, and if there’s one thing we must avoid on Friday it’s complacency. “After such a great performance on Monday we certainly don’t want to slip up at home. “I do feel we can go anywhere in the league and put on a performance, but we’ve already lost one at home this year so we’ve got to be on the ball and try to make sure we don’t lose any more. “If we can go for the rest of the season at home just about unbeaten from here, the away wins we’ve already got are going to stand us in really good stead.” Bees name a full-strength team as they go into a run of five matches in ten days, including trips to Wolverhampton, King’s Lynn and Lakeside next week. BUILDBASE BEES (from): Hans Andersen, Jason Garrity, Chris Harris, Danny King, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Stuart Robson, James Sarjeant. BELLE VUE (from): Max Fricke, Kyle Howarth, Scott Nicholls, Stefan Nielsen, Steve Worrall, Matej Zagar, Grzegorz Zengota.
  17. Well i thought i would start this one off, i can only see a home win with Belle Vue having the potential to take a point.
  18. Don't think he will be smiling much on Monday!
