  1. Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Hope they get it sorted. Wouldn't be good advert for first speedway GP of the season and we don't want any injured riders
  2. Garrity will play a huge part in this fixture as last year he scored a full Max in one meeting and was on a paid Max in the other until he fell. However Belle Vue are a lot stronger in 2nd string positions this year. We will also need Garrity to stay on his bike. Robson is hoping to be back for this meeting otherwise Coventry will use a guest. This has the making of a exciting close meeting.
  3. Taken from Belle Vue website: As they prepare to meet Coventry for the first time this season, sparks of payback are sure to be flying from the Belle Vue side of the pits come Monday night. The hosts have kept very much in mind the punishment dealt to them by the Buildbase Bees last season, particularly as they were the only club to defeat them on all four occasions they clashed. But the battle on April 20th guarantees to be just as equally hard-fought, especially as the visitors boast three riders who are more than comfortable around Kirkmanshulme Lane. Two of them, Hans Andersen and Chris Harris, formerly captained Belle Vue in 2010 and 2011 respectively while at the same time spearheaded the team as club No.1 during their tenure. But current Rentruck Aces captain Scott Nicholls refuses to single out any members of his former club as being more dangerous than others. He said: "It was a frustrating start for us, missing out on those points by such a slim margin, but it's still early days in the season and every match is a new day. We pulled off a great victory against Leicester on Monday and all of the boys chipped in and did their job, and showed the kind of class they're capable of producing. The enthusiasm of the fans was brilliant and naturally they want to see more of the same. So it's important we keep that momentum going against Coventry next week. "They're a solid, well-balanced team and they've really given us something to think about after their win at Poole on Wednesday. Of course Chris and Hans know Belle Vue very well, and Jason Garrity is their star reserve who caused us quite a few headaches last year. "But let's be honest, you have to expect great riders like them to perform well at a track they're very familiar with. I don't see any of them as a bigger threat than their team mates, just as I don't see Coventry as any more of a threat to us than the other Elite League clubs. On paper we can easily match them and I see no reason why that shouldn't also be the case in practice. "We just need to focus on our job, maintain that solidarity within the team and do whatever is necessary to get the win." 4. That's good to hear. Glad nothing is broken.
  5. Brendan Johnson joins Rye House as a temp replacement for Luke Priest
  6. Who sorted the NL fixtures this year as wasn't thought out very well. Looking at just May at the moment. Luke Crang is due to miss 4 of the 6 fixtures (including Koc) due to PL clashes. That alot of meetings to not have your No 1.
  7. If he is able to ride in Poland then should be no facility Mon unless he's reported for withholding his services to Lakeside
  8. He is injured. However if he rides on Saturday then he should be riding on Monday.
  9. @Lakesidehammers: Leicester number 1 Jason Doyle will guest for Andreas Jonsson for the away meeting against Wolverhampton Wolves on 20th April
  10. That was posted a couple of weeks ago which is why less on it. The last 2 meetings on that list are no longer confirmed to be on and the PL meeting and the 1st June meeting have been added. I'm sure they will get round to changing it on their site soon.
  11. Think the fast track riders would be a bit out of their depths. But Lambert, Howarth and Lawson could do well from the experience.
  12. The full list of meetings showing from April until July has been released (source @skyspeedway) Monday Wolves v Lakeside 27th April Belle Vue v King's Lynn 12th May Glasgow v Sheffield 26 May Swindon V Coventry 1st June Cov v Leic TBC 3rd June Poole v King's Lynn 15th June British Final June 22/24/29 all TBC all clubs to be shown
  13. Gutted for Olly Allen. Injury worse than first thought so now confirmed as our for the rest of the season 👎
  14. Exactly esp when he qualified and beat the other riders. He earned his spot. The others will just have to try harder in the next qualifier.
  15. Tenbears, people only have to watch Rory when guesting (unfortunately like on Friday lol) to see he goes out to win each meeting. Belle Vue are a bigger threat to Kings Lynn than Leicester so why would he want to go out and test things. Think last night was just one of those nights.
  16. And most riders moan that there are too many meetings in a EL season, yet Rory can't seem to get enough. However when it got to the August last year he burnt out abit, let's hope he doesn't do the same for Kings Lynn this year due to taking on all the guesting over the year. Can understand why people pick him on the average he was on esp on his old track but would have expected more than he scored.
  17. Oh really. Thanks. Wouldn't be much of an improvement on Pedersen esp as a heat leader. Not very dedicated to the sport either.
  18. Surprised by such a low score from Rory. Howarth however looks like he was the star rider for Leicester along with Auty. Good win for Belle Vue. Think they will be hard to beat at home esp now Stead and Cook have returned to winning ways. I hope Walasek is okay If Ward returns to British Speedway then it will be at Poole. Can't see Kaspasak returning with his main focus being the GP
  19. Harris qualified fair and square. If you would like to see other riders instead then they need to do better in the qualifier.
  20. Following a crash during yesterday's Championship of Sussex meeting at Eastbourne, Danny Ayres has been diagnosed with a broken bone in his hand. This rules Danny out of the Invicta Pairs meeting tonight at Central Park and his place in the 'Highwaymen' pairing is taken by Nick Laurence - the former Mildenhall ride
  21. Careful speedy. You will be labelled as cruel by a few on here. Was a question That I'm not the only one asking. I Stated a fact that he rode only a couple of hours ago. If you see sarcasm in the post then that's just your interpretation 😴
  22. He scored 5 including a race win. Strange? What's cruel about asking what's wrong with a rider?
  23. Wonder what illness Pedersen has pulled out of this meeting with as rode in Poland only couple of hours ago.
