Easier said than done, as we found with Jamrog there aren't many 6pt riders out there. -

Haha one bad meeting and people are talking about changes Whilst Poole are one of the strongest teams in the league, if had 2 full teams (Watt/Robbo) we would have won this even with Hans having a off night. That's very encouraging. Hans has said on Twitter that both his bikes let him down last night. He's not the first rider for that to happen to and he lost out on point money. Sarjeant also had bike problems in first couple of heats which made difference as when on good equipment he can beat any reserve at Brandon as he proved in heat 12! Last night was the strongest line up we will most likely face all year esp once Watt is back. Think both Coventry and Poole should make top 4 with teams they have. Last night was one of those nights where what will go wrong, goes wrong. Was good to see Holder return after his accident. Must have been hard for him after last year. -

We were also without Robson who would have definetely scored more than Heeps. Hopefully next time the 2 sides meet later in the season it will be with 2 full sides, guest free. -

Maybe somebody needed to tell Hans that was why then as after riding for Swindon he often complained that they expected you to ride for free and then his rant on Twitter during the dinner dance about their fans not appreciating him (something to do with not being in their top 3 riders of the year) gave the impression he didn't want to return. PK wasn't returning this year and Swindon were at a loss this year so sure if he had wanted to return he would have. He seems to enjoy riding for the bees which is why he returned again this year. Harris always guests well for teams, the same as rory. That doesn't mean he wants to join them lol. I do agree that 1 bad meeting doesn't make a bad rider and fans need to take the rough with the smooth. Holder wasn't a lot better but don't see the Poole fans slating him. Riders will have off nights. On to the next meeting. -

Newman and Blackbird were the best last year as well which is why a lot of people were annoyed that they were ranked so low on the draft order which Meant Wolves and Poole got first picks in 2nd tier. That's why I think all the negativity is uncalled for. Even with our no 1 having a dreadful night and lots of exclusions, we still only lost by 7. If Watt had been there instead of Rory, the score would have been very different. -

Unfortunately bike problems happen. Hope Swindon paid him ok for guesting last night as wasn't that one of the reasons he left 😄 Updated on Twitter that neither are serious and both will be fine for Wed. -

Well done to both sets of fans on their part in the applause for Nigel Boocock tonight. Lovely tribute to him. If asked honestly Poole fans, when Watt is fit to return, would you prefer to have him back in the team or keep Josh/Guest? -

Completely agree. Bees were weakened by no Robson whilst Rory really strengthened Poole. When you think we only lost by 7pts when our number 1 spent all night having bike problems and our riders were excluded in point scoring positions, I think this can be counted as a blip. 1st loss of the season by couple of points against one of the strongest teams in the league on a night plagued by bike problems and exclusions. Still 3rd in the table. -

@Hansi_Andersen: Oh dear that didn't go to plan 😟 just couldn't do anything right, bike spat itself then winning a race and the Premier chain snaps 👎 #NewDay Hoping he bounces back on Wednesday. -

What injuries, there's only Magic and he looked fine in the pits and will most likely ride in Poland so be fine for Sun. Was really annoyed on way home but only positive is even with our number 1 not scoring and no Robbo against a strengthened Poole side we only lost by 7. -

Hopefully we will have a different ref on Wed Good fight back from the boys esp Kylmakorpi but the exclusions plus a terrible night for our number one left too much to do. Did well to lose only by 7 when you consider that. -

Shocking decision! Also terrible not excluding North when was one of the worse jumping at the start I have seen this season. The difference between a win and lose for coventry (aside from the ref) was 2 riders: Rory who scored much more than The rider he was replacing would and was Pooles rider of the night. Hans Andersen who was dreadful. Bike trouble with both bikes and gating was terrible I'm glad Sarjeant is okay after being taken off twice. -

No not televised anywhere. Definetely think this will be one of the toughest 1-7 we will face this year. -

Was only a quick shower. With all the sun we have had this week, the track will need watering anyway. -

Feeling the same esp when you look at the guests. Fridays match will be followed by another second half event featuring the Coventry Storm riders, who battled to an excellent league point at Cradley on Wednesday. And supporters will also be able to pay tribute to club legend Nigel Boocock, who passed away last week. A book of remembrance has been set up and will be available to sign in the Track Shop. -

That's the unfortunate case with Swindon and bees. Pooles guests however are due to fixture clashes for Josh and Starke -

Much better scores and racing from Stefan last night so maybe he had been having bike problems before that. If so, he could be a lot better on this visit. It's great to not be worrying about risk of rain. Forecast for the hottest day of the year today. Sun is already out ☀️ -
