Unlucky Belle Vue who deserved something from this meeting, keeping it so close until the final couple of heats. Doyle and Nicholls both sounded like they had a great meeting. Good score for Worrall as well

That's the confusing bit. Both stead and also Cook who got a max tonight for Edinburgh are doing well in PL but struggling in EL. Cook is in a second string position so should make it a bit easier than it is for Stead with this format. They are both capable of scoring well in the EL but for some reason it's just not happening yet Sounds like the Lovely Scott Nicholls is having a great meeting though.

Do agree esp when he is capable of a lot more. Belle Vue still in this even with an absent no 1 and their no 5 and 7 struggling.

He said on Twitter being at no 5 is difficult. I suppose he would be better as a 2nd string than a heat leader although can't see him & Cook changing places. . Would it maybe be worth Belle Vue swapping him to no 3?

Belle Vue only losing by 4 and that's without their no 1. With Pedersen due out in 2 more heats and with Belle Vue riders winning the last few heats, this could go either way.

Where have I said I don't like him? I commented on his racing tonight, the same as anybody does on here about riders. Hampel is one of my favourite riders but he unfortunately struggled tonight. Think team Australia really missed Doyle tonight

Really. Think Team Australia are really struggling. Both North & Holder not beating an opposing rider in last 2 races. Team Russia and Poland looking good.

I know it makes it harder arranging fixturez on a sat when have GP riders in teams but surely there must have been a better date for this meeting when Zagar wouldn't have been missing?See it's R/R for Zagar Leicester still to announce a guest for no 2. Does that mean Rory is busy 😂

Meant his next race where he was behind both Bees riders and broke down. Just as you are assuming Josh would have done well. Finally somebody who sees it as it is.

Agree. Unfortunately there are a handful of people who regularly don't come on here to talk speedway but just find fault constantly in everything other posters write. Haha it just gets better and better doesn't it. Best bit is I bet a lot of them didn't even go last night and just gojng by the update site.

Well said Skidder and nice to have somebody post who isn't being negative about everything. Unfortunately meetings are unpredictable and bike problems, ref decisions and injuries can change a night. Think Poole will be hard to beat this season esp at home as look strong.

Oddly enough Hans and Sarj usually score well but didn't last night so doesn't mean Josh would have. Magic was in losing positions when fell and the riders taking his R/R were stronger on the night than him so hardly weakened them. Bees out scored Poole even with exclusions after heat 5 however we were not good enough in first 4 heats which you have to be to win. No excuse not having the right set ups on own track. At the end of the day, Poole won and the bees lost. Think both teams along with Kings Lynn look very strong. Don't think either team need to worry about not making the top 4 so far.

Why was Holder a cheap shot? Neither scored a lot. Wasn't a dig. If you read posts correctly you would see I mentioned how hard it must have been for Holder after last year. Maybe you need to stop being so touchy or just looking for a argument.
