If true then what a cop out. My parents had a terrible separation and yet I didn't go out drink driving. If mind wasn't on it then even more reason why he shouldn't have been riding. He's an adult not a child. Gollob went through a nasty divorce, holder missed birth of first child, Emil had a terminally ill father and yet they all came out and rode sober. What is Wards excuse for other times he has done this in Poland (which rides are saying he has) or the riding a unlicensed bike whilst under the influence of drink & drugs? Fans making excuses for him need to realise if he carries on the way he is without any repercussions then next time he may not only seriously injure another rider but also himself.

Yes I am one myself and there was quite a few people where we were sat.

Monday on TV was the smallest crowd we have had but have got 3 home meetings in 8 days so understandable. Been having some very strong crowds. But was the same last year when we were bottom of league.

We are not blinkered, no they don't get paid much at all but then why does Garrity want to ride for Coventry so much. He makes no secret of it when interviewed. Day before u21 GB team event which meant he couldn't ride in PL, he was at Brandon in pits supporting the bees & also comes to work for free with the Coventry storm helping them in the pits. He was in agony on Monday night after his crash and was unable to ride back to pits or get off bike without help. Yet even though he was hardly being paid much and could have withdrawn, he came out for every race and gave 100%. Next year he won't be in the draft

Disagree. The fast track has been great this year but bees have missed Garrity alot at home due to him riding him the PL and so have had to use riders much lower in the draft. Rye House arranged this meeting knowing Coventry were already riding so why should coventry be punished?

Not just him though. Other riders have commented about it on twitter. Some have liked Lindgrens post. Nicholls was vocal about it. Other riders disagree with what Ward did, after all it was them he had no respect for as willing to put them at risk. If nothing is done to punish him then think its going to cause a terrible atmosphere between riders with some turning against ward. You shouldn't be driving two hours later & yes you should be punished if caught. Alcohol will still affect your cognitive development whilst in your system. However it's even worse if you were driving a bike without breaks in a small space with 3 other riders who have to put their trust in you on track at high speed.

How do you work that out when he misses most of our meeting due to PL commitments.

Question is, if only 3 riders are tested at Random at start of a meeting then how many times has he ridden over the limit before?

If Fans don't want Garrity, we would love him at Coventry. Maybe clubs can do a trade, Kennett for Garrity

No excuse for putting other riders in danger. Does that mean if we were to have bad news and go drink driving it would be ok. Needs to be a ban

I take it you haven't been following the bees then or turning up to see Harris scoring double figures. Not sure why people think Aussies will win it. They finished 3rd in event 1 on a track they all knew well, they scrapped through Race off after a terrible decision went against Sweden. A lot will depend also which Ward turns up, the one easily beaten from event 1 or the EL one. Predictions: Winners: Poland (practiced all week & at home) 2. Denmark 3. Toss up between Aussies & Team GB

And yet in EL Harris has been flying, it's Tai who has been a worry. If Harris brings EL form we will be fine.
