I respect your opinion SCB but a GP rider are you for real? certain riders mature at different stages so it will be interesting.Auty to me looked on the pace in his ride at Cardiff Bridger better no chance.Both have loads of catching up to do and that's not forgetting Ellis and young Lambert( could be anything?) sniffing around.King,Barker,Auty,Bridger, all have there supporters is there much difference? add Kennett and Worrall( who i rate) personal preference decides for the individual as there ain't much in it.

But often when the tac rule was used,it was not always the weakest rider that was replaced.I thought there was more man management then and as others have pointed out people like Varey,Oliver,Fearman,Adams,Oakes were ahead of the game in many ways and won matches because of it.

Its called team building and Cradley for a spell were masters at it.Riders like Erik, Penhall,Pedersen,King,Ravn(who they improved)Cross,Wigg they were not all stars at the start Cradley always had good sides in the 80s.Funny thing is i always thought in the early 70s some of there sides were poor McCormick and Adams had a massive say in there success.

Is Bridger in great form he has done well but most of his big points have been at his home trick track.

I like Kennett,hope he does well,but we do have at least 5 alternatives to him all have frailities but are as good.

i like Barker too Starman for me him and Auty mix it are not scared of reputations and are not easily moved Worrall/Cook i like both are not as tough.We haven't a great team and Middlo would have to be God to really make a difference not all doom and gloom though Lambert,Ellis both nice prospects.

I am a bit bias Auty i see as a 15 year kid at Sheffield once,i have followed his career and what value he is i would pay just to watch him.Wondered what Scunny fans thought they know best is he decent can he improve? i believe so wondered what the hard core of Scunny fans felt!.

Do Scunny do DVDs of all the meetings? on you tube there has been some great footage put on.

I recon a home win Just? Newcastle are a hell of a side if they win it will not be a surprise to me.The diamonds have a few riders who will improve Robbo and (Henry who is well underrated) a very solid unit they are a very good team will be challenging at the end of the season!
