Teams to run on their preferred night and if rider/riders are unavailable, National League riders to be drafted in. 3a. No guests under any circumstances, redeclarations allowed once per month. 4. North League; Belle Vue, Sheffield, Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Redcar and Workington. South League: Poole, Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Leicester, Oxford, Plymouth and Scunthorpe. 5. Teams having National League teams to stage meetings after main meeting with same format as Danish system. 6. Teams not having National League teams to stage second half with minimum of 6 heats. 7. 4. So a NORA licence has been approved and a scheduled meeting planned for 6 September. Hope they get a decent crowd and well done to everyone involved.
  5. Everyone bar you on this forum will understand why Plymouth fielded such a team! Maybe they should have waited till next year to stage the meeting when all the riders are fit and available, would that suit you?
  6. Best news for speedway this week. Will be great to see the Comets back on track and all the best to Andy and the team.
  7. Any news regarding the NORA Track Licence inspection?
  8. This could be potentially the best thing to happen in British Speedway this year, if a return is possible any time in the future. Good luck to John and Jon in their efforts to achieve this and I am sure it will be heavily supported by all speedway fans around the world.
  9. Well now we all know the length of a Grand Prix meeting in Manchester, 2 hours and 10 minutes for 23 races... Excellent and credit to everyone concerned in its staging a brilliant spectacle with decent racing. Hopefully all meetings staged at Belle Vue in the future be run with the same efficiency now and without the un necessary delays?
  10. Just letting everyone know that this scheduled fixture deserves a thread and hopefully line ups can be confirmed and a good turn out of support from everyone after the Grand Prix's
  11. Heard a possibility of switch for a NORA licence, can anyone elaborate?
  12. So no real answer to the question! Starke wins depriving the National League Riders Development in order for more track time to improve his prior dismal performances. Hope he is really proud of his win at the cost of Youth Development and Poole made a profit on the meeting!
  13. With tonight's meeting being advertised as:- Harbour Masters Championship (National League Riders Development Individual) Then why is Paul Starke replacing William Cairns? We Know William is injured, but which National League team Does Paul Starke represent?
  14. The racing was second to none. But with such a poor crowd, how will the riders be paid? Promotion be able to stage these events? More has to be done to actually promote the sport to people who do not even know it exists.
  15. Do you really follow speedway at all or are even interested in it? The so called Junior races are the future of British Speedway and some wonderful talent on show. I for one, are far more interested in watching these young lads aspire to the dizzy heights of representing their Premier League teams in the future. But hold on, you will not watch them now, but will in the future?
  16. Like I mentioned before, the apathy is here in the UK itself, wih little if no help given to the prospective riders.
  17. According to the fixture list above 6 matches should have taken place by now. Does anyone know any results and riders taking place? Would be great if anyone could keep us updated how all the riders are doing?
  18. Great watch on the Plymouth stream. Only criticism is lets see the after meeting kids on show, they deserve the coverage as they are the future.
  19. It appears that Adam Ellis rode a Godden Engine on the parade prior to the Ipswich v Birmingham match tonight. Anyone have any details, pictures or news on a new Godden Engine?
  20. SCB REGULATIONS 2025 013.1.1 Rider Match Averages and Gradings Riders in the National League and National Trophy competitions must hold an ACU licence, SCB Registration and a British Passport. A team may include 1 rider who has previously achieved an MA above 4.00 to a maximum of 6.00 (inclusive) in the Championship League (prior to the 2024 season) who is not declared in a Championship or Premiership Team Declaration. If that rider is then declared in a Championship or Premiership Team Declaration the NDL/NDT club will have 28 days to replace that rider from the date of the Championship/Premiership declaration. New riders with a British Passport will enter the NDL and/or NDT on a 3.00 MA. A riders MA will be based upon their latest (attained during the 2022 - 2024 only) NDL or Championship MA (multiplied by 2 and subject to the minimum/maximum converted MA’s being 3.00/12.00). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Potentially with Luke Harris not riding between these years a newly assessed average could explain it how Nathan Ablitt can be fitted into the team? Who knows and if you do please let everyone know?
  21. Ant details of yesterdays result?
  22. The apathy on this particular thread just shows what our speedway community think of Women's Speedway!!! If the interest is non existent here, then what will it be like for this event in Croatia?
  23. Vinnie Foord 6.29 Kent Luke Harrison 5.36 Steelers Sam McGurk 5.56 Birmingham Senna Summers 3.44 Oxford Max James 7.2 Birmingham Kai Ward 3.58 Middlesbrough Cooper Rushen 3.00 Kings Lynn Total 37.43
