This should be a close run thing. But i will take the Tiger's to win this one by 8+. The clashes between Josh G and Cookie should be worth watching. Lassie Bjerre is riding really well and from what he say's as got to grips with the set up's for Owlerton. He could go really well at 5. It's stopped raining now 1.15pm so if we don't have any more rain the track should be spot on UTT

Hall, no thank's been their done that. James Shanes would be a good call.

The reserve situation needs sorting quickly, but the problem is who. We need two reserves now. Which makes it very difficult. I can't se us doing anything unless we can find two decent guy's for the reserve places.

The Tigers should win this in a canter. but the reserve situation needs sorting, and quickly. -
Great racing last night. The pass by Todd Kurtz when he went round both Monarch's riders on the first bend was breathtaking. Just like the old times. long may it last. Josh G looked very impressive, he as got the set up spot on and is flying. Last night even when he missed the start, he was passing guy's on the inside and outside. It reminded me of Ricky Ashworth,Andre Compton and Mr Stead in there pomp. UTT

Sheffield V Glasgow, 25th May 2017.

No that's wishful thinking. It will be gate and go end of race. We might get a bit of action on the first bend and a couple of races with some overtaking fingers crossed. -

If the Sheffield Tigers have got their gating heads on , like they have had for most of the season, they will take some stopping. I will take Sheffield to win by 8-10 points. -

This should be a good close meeting, but you need to gate and the Tigers have been on the ball at home. So will take the Tigers by 10+. -
I see Redcar have released Hall again. Could it be because of what happened in the pits.
-
Barker is Barker does not take any prisoners. He is not my cup of tea, but we need rider's who make it interesting. Instead of gate and go and thats the end of it. utt. Oh and by the way the Sheffield track is a disgrace. If the riders want it like that they will get speedway done away with. I am getting a bit fed up with the quality of racing at Owlerton. You are luck if you get a couple of races that are worth watching each meeting. We keep getting Damian Bates saying what good racing we get at Sheffield, he needs to come and listen to the comments from the terraces every Thursday.

But for a bit of bad luck it would have been 60. No danger.

graz gp replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Totally agree about the track. Why don't the powers that be tell the fans what's going on with the track. They have not said a thing, this as been going on for at least two seasons. The racing is rubbish. Get some dirt put on it please. Heep's looked like he was going to get hurt chasing the dirt. In one race him and Mark Riss took the paint of the boards. Scary. -

It should be a good meeting. Danny King is a very good rider, he will push our guy's all the way. I take the Tigers to win by 8/10 points. Mark Riss a very good replacement for Rob Branford. utt. -

Sheffield V Somerset 30/3/2017 Challenge
graz gp replied to Tigerite's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I thought Todd Kurtz would be the weak link, but fair play to him he put on a decent show. long may it continue. Overhall not bad but let's see in a few weeks time. But please get the track sorted out. I would like someone on the Sheffield promotion to tell us what the thinking is concerning the track preperation. -

I agree with everything that's been said. Great crowd same racing as last season, boring. I saw Mr Boocock with the overhalls on doing the track, that says it all. Get some dirt on the outside and let's have some good racing. Not gate and go. I will give it a few week's if no improvement it's by by. -
Ipswich Vs Sheffield Sgbc 25/03/17 7.30pm
graz gp replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
4 of the Tiger's have scored good point over the first week. Bates 12 Howarth 10 Grajczonek 10 and Bjerre 8. So it should be close. Two good team who should have good seasons. Come on you Tigers. -
It's people like Damian Bates who need to have more input in how speedway is run, a bit of forward thinking. Trying different thing's to get people through the turnstiles, and promote the great family sport that speedway is.
-
A very sorry state of affairs, so sorry for the Coventry fan's. This is another nail in the coffin of speedway. That will be the next thing sky pulling the plug. We need people with some forward thinking, dare i suggest our promoter at Sheffield, Damian Bates he a least is trying to bring some idea's on getting more people through the turnstyles and promoting speedway. If we just carry on as we are we will be only watching gp's.
-
What a great gesture by the promoter's. not only the first meeting free, but special offer's throughout the season. They deserve to be successful. With the team we have assembled i think we are going to have a great year. Roll on the 30th.
-
Bring it on. We are all Tigers aren't we. Oh sorry Lions lol.

What about Eric Boocock for team manager.
