Shocked and saddened, Remember him commentating on a Lynn vs Poole match in the play-off's a couple of years ago and he intrigued me with his enthusiasm and passion for the sport. R.I.P

Guest Riders --- 45 Years On.
LagutaRacingFan replied to E I Addio's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Poland seem to be fine, They run squad systems and don't use this diabolical guests rule. Every club should have a squad of 10 and the riders in form get picked but a team of 7 always have to fit into a certain points limit. -
If that's true, Then it's a complete and utter disgrace. He should be already seeded through to the SGP series and the remaining 15 riders can battle for two SGP spots. Nobody should be discriminated against because of their skin colour, race, nationality or ethnic background and the BSI should be ashamed for hosting the challenge in the UK, Didn't a Ukranian rider suffer the same fate in the U21 final in 2011 so they were warned! They should do the honourable thing and allow Loktaev through, This is also the reason why the Laguta brothers didn't ride in the GP qualifiers as why spend thousands getting to the final where you can't ride!

Dakota has the attitude of a winner, That's why he reached the Semi-Finals of the SGP qualifying series and finished 2nd in the Australian championships. -
Wild Cards 2014
LagutaRacingFan replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'm not one for Ward getting a wild-card, He's failed to qualify automatically for the last 2 years and he's been relying on a wild-card rather than entering the GP qualifying series. Only GP qualifier participants should get wild-card picks so also tough luck to Holder in my opinion. -

Only TNT wants to see Lindgren in the GP series, He's a poor rider. Jonasson deserves his chance for the Swedes as Lindgren flatters to deceive. -

You know, When they reach the corner and basically stop the bike to turn it. They should just let it flow -

What I don't understand is why have Sky not gone to the best track in the Elite League in Peterborough more often? Speedway needs to be portrayed in a positive light, Tracks like Wolves don't excite people never mind Eastbourne and Belle Vue. Speedway isn't exciting when the riders are braking and not building up speed. -
Peterborough have had some good crowds recently, Over 500 regularly.

Wild Cards 2014
LagutaRacingFan replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Jonasson deserves a wild card, He's only 24 and has a bigger chance of doing something than Lindgren and Jonsson who are both past it. THJ's reaching his prime and he's a natural racer, He also has charisma and he brings excitement. Thomas H Jonasson Chris Holder Grigory Laguta Paweł Przedpełski Those are my 4 picks providing Greg and Darcy finish in the Top 8 Grigory is ready to challenge, Top 6 I reckon for him at a minimum Holder is obvious Pawel is ready to replace Gollob in the series.
