Are you going to paid the money all these meetings cost clubs ?...surely you understand that fans don't go to shield matches or knock cup matches anymore hence why were scrapped in the first place

And that is point people were making ..it quite clear as has been shown how stupid and unfair that rule was but it never stopped them from going ..so when they say the new rule stops them it can't be true unless they were lying to themselves .

To pay the bills you have at least even that does mean you have get rid all the top riders and high earners a lot of them paid for themselves ...not sure if you noticed but a lot of pl teams who no star riders and not being able to pay bills or break even . Never understood why by getting rid of top riders why speedway is going to start paying for itself and get the crowds back .

I love darts and lot of my friends do the same as cricket but none of us play it . Maybe they should put fishing on at prime time as loads of people fish .Speedway used to be massive but doubt most of crowds were speedway riders .

No it's not. there is no sport where team can use a sub when the other can't when just because they are losing ...it similar to nothing . Maybe in cricket the same player should allowed to bat twice just because they are getting beat ...that is just as much mickey mouse

Untrue as under the double points rule Gundersen would not allowed to be put in heat 8 .only under the old rules were World Champions etc allowed to come out and take on number 7's

Correct it's not hard really . the stats have been quite clear that the old tac changed the overall result of match far more that the new rule ever has. you don't have to very clever to work that out .

Or perhaps it was because under the new rules you can't change your Number 7 with your No 1 . The bottom line both rules were stupid and unfair .

So as has been said if had been about silly tac subs who would have stopped going years ago . if fans don't go because of double points rule but went when the tac sub was around then they are worth worrying about as there views are hypocritical . Spot on ...he admitted that old rule was stupid but carried on going ...that proves that it was not the rules . There has always stupid rules in speedway nothing has changed in that respect .

Not seen one fan said everything is Hunky Dory or there nothing to worry about so your telling lies to start off with . what has been said if going moan about rules at least come with something that is workable bar going back to the old days so a few over 70 years come back or a brain dead idea to rid the uk of the remaining riders that the fans pay money to see .There are clubs in the pl who no star riders in there side who find themselves in big trouble due to small crowds .. Yea the tac sub rule ..that gave 73% more false results that the double points rule .

I never put the offside rule forward at all ...i put forward things that were mickey mouse in f1 and cricket and it has little effect on the crowd and could put forward many more . As i already said if you were taking your friends in 1975 and there were guests and rr then they as much chance as asking the same questions or being put off as they have now . I would expect if they saw a great meeting with guests and rr i am sure they have more chance of coming back than watching a crap match with both sides with teams with there full 1-7 Speedway has always seem mickey mouse ...sadly the old fans look over that fact ...you can find as many mickey mouse rules when speedway was massive as you can now .
