You don't have to be mystic to understand fans have left the sport for many reasons ...but if is was because of double points when they went when the old tac rule was in place they are indeed lying to themselves or just moaning for moaning sake . In your case if you never liked unfair or stupid rules you should never have gone at all .

No I am correct as I said they had just as many stupid rules in the old days when the crowds were massive ..so people said they stopped going were lying to themselves ...as someone has pointed out if don't like double points why are you watching it on the tv ? after all it's the same rule if you are watching it live on if it's on sky .

And that is the point as has been explained those rules were just as stupid in fact in my eyes more ...so it's quite clear is has no bearing on the state of the crowds .

But when a team was only 6 points down in the old days and a double tac come out it was great no doubt great ..a world champion could replace a reserve etc . the old rule was just as mickey mouse .

No it won't ..yet again another thing that has to be explain time and time again without the league title at stakes the play offs would mean nothing to the riders mangerment and most important the fans who would not turn up meaning big losses to the clubs .

Fans all over the world in loads of sports love play offs ...yet another myth that somehow it's only be bad in speedway ...yet again when comes to double points as I said before those same fans who say they don't go anymore were quite happy to go when you could have unlimited tac subs etc . Speedway has many problems but most of reasons tend to be stupid ones or old people wanting the rules to be the same when they used to go even thou those rules were just as daft .

Who said Cook is forward thinking ...look at some of the sutpid things he put forward in the past it's no wonder people vote against him . As I said he just gone along with Poole over the years and sided with them time and time again while it has ripped speedway apart ,,,if he wants meaningful change maybe he should have stood up and been counted why Poole were calling off that home match against them a season or so ago ...as they say Talk is cheap .

Yea it's tough ...change the reserves in one heat and then pick two riders in heat 15 Not sure your be up to that .

Being a speedway team manager is hardly a hard job ....most speedway fans with a lot of common sense could do the job when it comes to making decisions ....if fact due to the rules these days there is hardly any decisions to make .

Yet again Cook tries to make out he's the peoples champion ...he's been part of the problem for a long time as he's stands by and let's Poole get away with murder . This topic should have been changed to John Cook talks a lot of **** .

And of course how Great it was for Brum in the PL ...it can't be long before someone says that World class riders beat the other riders by half a lap at El level in every race ...the myths and half truths are still coming at rapid speed I see .

Seen plenty of teams go bust in the PL over the years .... ..the bottom line is most clubs go bust etc because they are badly run not what league they are in . the bit about brum always makes me laugh ....people always tend to forget the amount of money patch lost while he ran pl speedway there and Don't forget Newport etc Come on ...your be telling me next Gazza's face was not on that piece of toast next .

As had been said a million times when you on anyone else comes with a format using the squad system that would work let's us all know ..intill then

Virtually impossible you could make up tons of match up's between El v Pl that not be affected by doubling up rules .or riders . Swindon for example could take on every team in the pl bar 4 for a start so hardly impossible .

There is massive gap most El teams at full strength would still beat most pl teams by 15 to 20 points .

Is it ? I doubt it, he will be back very soon ......before he makes up another reason why it went wrong and all suckers get taken in by it again .

Not at all it's all about what crowds you get in to what kind of riders you can get ....The pl crowds this year has been poor this year from what the fans have been saying .. just because put out a cheap team is does mean your going to balance the books . Poole are one of the biggest payers out there but are still one of the only teams who make money . As for Tai when did anyone say it was about the money ? I thought it was common knowledge it was because to many meetings etc why he skipped the uk so it gave him a better chance of being world champion . one day fans will wake up and understand that speedway has problems full stop rather than living in this dream world that the pl and cheap sides is the way forward and crowds will flock to see them .
