Speedway used to have loads of mainstream coverage when they used the same guest system as well as massive crowds ...so not sure how it can blamed for the reason there is no media on indeed any of the other problems .

As someone said on another topic no one yet after about 50 years has come up with a better and workable idea . For all the stick the powers that be get it's almost impossible to find such a system you ask and hope for .

Not as easy that thou as you are perming more than 2 riders ... your also got to perm a whole fixture list that has to include every team and every rider so it's fits in . No matter how you do it the moment you decide to ride at the weekend then this what is going to happen as it did with Eastie for the last few seasons .

For all the stick Belle Vue get the bottom line is that you can't run Weekend speedway at the top level in the uk without this thing happening nearly all the time . Ok Zagar and Cook might have been there another sat but when they can make maybe some of the lions might be missing . You only have to look at the sides that turned up at Eastie in the last few years to understand this is what's happens all the time .

Spot on ...just like most people I don't enjoy the guest rule but I have never known anyone involved in speedway or anyone on here come up with a better and workable idea ...so intill then we still have to grin and bear it . Good Crowd but a dull meeting ...Hans done well but I am still in shock that Perry took 4 rides ...can only think Rosco got caught out by the new race format and the need to change the weaker fast tracker in his second or 3rd ride

So nearly half there team then ? Change most sides with 3 better riders and you can change a average side into a good one . On paper this side is rock solid .

Just go's to show you win with speedway fans ...already this week we had fans moaning that matches are called off to early due to weather forecasts and now we have people saying they are called off to late . The forecast was very hit or miss today depending on what site you look at and we just caught some heavy rain what might have missed us ..of course fans who arrive get upset and clubs should never say that matches are 100 % on but as a fan you look at the forecast and weigh up the risks of a match going ahead and then you take your chances .

Riding on it and watching it are two different things .

Yet again first things first, I said a million times the biggest mistake on sky tv matches is showing teams not on there regular race night . it's hard enough to get speedway fans to come when it's on tv but even harder off there regular race night ...Still after all this time they still not sorted this out and then we are left with a poor crowd that make the sport look poor even before the racing has started .

Yet again can't run a team based on if's and if a certain might get injured ...The right option is always picking your strongest side and in this case it was rr so guest was the wrong option .

Nothing to with predicting the future ...all you can do it any sport is used logic to pick a side that gives you the best chance of winning... hence this case using rr ...not really hard to follow .

What ? if rr is going to score more you go with 6 ....the only tosh is someone saying lets put out a team that is going to score less .
