No nicholls would have done it with ease and looks like that the powers that be see it the same way . I think that's what great about the wildcards if great riders like nicholls or such like come outside the top 8 due to injury they can get a pick, and with a clear run i can't see him comeing outside the top 8 for years . Still find is amazeing that he done so well seeing that there is not a home gp for uk riders where the swedes and poles have two gp's at thre home tracks to help them .

As has been said before if nicholls had rode all the gp's he would have finish in the top 8 on merit so his pick is the right choice .

I am with you on this one my have no doubt scott is one the top 16 riders in the world and will no doubt be given a wildcard by the powers that be. I hope that scott will turn it down for his sake as i don't think scotts the sort of guy who would what people to think he is in on pity or being british .
