Tomlinson keeps going on about the clause he put in about them building more houses .The trouble is unless they can move speedway back in that's a not of good to the fans .They should put in pen clauses etc in the first place giving Gi track record in not Building Staduims etc. How they got there pants pull down by them again is truly amazing .

From the outset i always said Tomlinson last gambit will be we hope to find you a new Venue . Hopefully thou i think its to late we at last we getting everyone to understand that Gaming were never going to build a stadium .. Still in shock that it's took so long for so many for the penny to drop . The irony of course that people behind tomorrow project are the ones who ridiculed people who raised doubts about Gaming int in the first place

Why were they good to be true ... He had to meet Doyle 3 times even if he got heat 15 in six meetings this year hes been over 8 3 times and under twice and injured early in the other one . King had a easy heat 12 on paper and is good as a rule at Boro.

Of course it has a lot to do with not having a competitive team .it stands to reason that the crowds are low due to that hence bringing less income in. People tend to blame UK speedway in general for a demise of a club but most of the time it's just a crap ran business.

Not had a bet on speedway this year.Every time I look the lines look dead right..

I see the standard statement we are positive about riding next season has been dug out again. Zzzzz.. How about some answers to why the work has stopped etc what the local mp etc is doing etc etc. Can't wait to November after we get done over again.Dont tell me we are positive about riding in 2024 and all the riders are as keen as mustard to ride for us. .

That is a great point and sound logic.the points scores are based on riders not having them so when it happens it can help you backing the unders..I was only thinking about that the other week.

i don't think the passion is there for that sort of thing . Gaming are very good at that in the slow way they kill the club and take the fight out of people . One of the worst things about the whole thing in all of this in the local Newspaper ..They should and could of really put pressure and took Gaming to task but instead have just printed there lies and broken promises .

You dont have to go in all guns blazing ..But you do have question what going on keep in the public eye etc keep the pressure on . The biggest problem we got is no one has the balls to say how it is . Are we going to let the club die without saying how it is . Saying and doing nothing is playing right into there hands . We all know what is coming . more made up delays so they can't run again next year . The club should ask what the delay is now and then tell the public

Yea 7 years later I can see how well its working. Just how that plan worked at all the other so called Gaming int stadium projects.

Now blaming the club.mate.but they have to be more pro active and keep the pressure on and been seen to be caring ..imo they are not doing that You can't have months and months of complete silence .With you 100% on Tomlinson

I never like him as a broadcaster but that does not mean its not tragic or i cant show respect for someone who put a lot of his life into speedway or for his family who have lost there Dad -Husband etc So nothing to do with hypocracy at all .

What shocking news ... the most important and the saddest thing if that a wife has lost her husband and 3 children have lost there dad . The pain and grief must be unbearable .

Not really .... You could have the greatest track of all time and be as entertaining as you like but if lose the crowds will drop ...Results will always nearly come first

Spot on ... all to be a fly on the wall as Clark and co plot there next step to close the speedway down for good . Not sure funny is the right word but can't wait to see what the next move is to stop us racing next season

The most sensible post on this forum for a long time . What is scary is people think they will get big crowds because fans from Swindon , Reading , Cov will go . that never happens in great numbers and never will . Every one who has try to run speedway at Oxford money since 2000 has lost money and broke 3 of them hence why it closed down . As arnieg said find a level that allows them to run for season after season . Talk of top league etc is insane

How can the above be true as i have already pointed out riders have signed contracts in Poland that won't allowed ride in more than two countries ... so what happen to these restraint laws there then ? .after all according to you there self employed contractors with the ability to ply there trade where and for who they want . Boxers sign with promoters but dont get paid weekly but per fight as a rule but they are still under contract they just can't go and fight for someone else If a Speedway team draws up a contract where a rider can only ride for them no one can stop them . it will be then up to the rider if he wishes to sign that contract . no diffrent to giving a self employed person a full time job for half a year .

Good that we won and even better we have some decent riders who will serve us well in the coming years but at the end of the day its a just a pairs event with a really stupid format . its hardly makes us world champions .
