The subject is Eastbourne .. Eastbourne had bigger crowds at a early stage so there plight the subject we are talking about has little to do with covid just rank bad mangerment .. To much is made of what is going on in the iow .. its a captive audience in Holiday season .Fair play to the people who run it because they have maximize it but the chances of it working elsewhere are zero

iow is speedway ran on a holiday island in holiday time . As for covid Eastbourne crowds were bigger at the start before covid restrictions were lifted .Do you really think that the iow circus act would work elsewhere ?

Of course they can... they can explain on what has happened when they have spoken to Gi i guess they have seeing no stadium is being built after yet another broken promise. even if Gi have given no reply to there questions . if they are not trying to contact them then that is even worst . its hardly a lot to ask . The lack of pressure put on Gi by the club the press and the local mp has been shocking to be honest . Looks like yet again another con by Gi is going to work with a barely a wimper of oppo

The fact remains in nearly every sport a winning team will get bigger crowds .. you might not like it but that is how it is

Of course it matters quite clearly not to you but to the majority it will ... People go to watch there team win

Short is a understatement

No statement from the Club about the stadium in ages on what is or in this case what is not going on ..a poor show by anyone standards

You wonder even if they do well what the point is .. You seen what Woffy and Lambert have done ... never ride in our league again and cant even be arse to ride in there own National Final . Bar doing well in the World cup -league of nations we get nothing back unless are league bucks up so these riders want to ride here

I think Buster will ok once he's calm down , quite clearly he got upset about last nights events and made a heat of the moment statement ...Kl and Boro like most speedway clubs are worthless and impossible to sell in fact you cant give them away as they just lose money thou buster might do ok at KL as he's got less overheards etc I expect he will carry on running at Kl next year and drop Boro putting them at peril of ever running again .

Yet again depends what they based there break even figure on and remember we knew about covid etc before the start of the season ... Its hard to figure out how a team after 16weeks can be so deep in debt . It pretty clear it's been poorly ran and has give it's self no wiggle room

Not really .. you pay what you can and cut you cloth to that level ...if your going to get 500 fans each week your team should reflect that just like any other sport and if you come near the bottom so be it . Eastbourne quite clearly put a shocking Business plan together based on silly numbers coming to watch

Sometimes to much is made of the state of uk speedway for the problems clubs face .... Should Eastbourne really be in this much trouble due to one or two bad crowds ? Who knows what go's on behind closed doors and if all funds etc have gone back into the club ...sometimes its just down to poor people who run the club

Dont agree 90 % will never go again and the other 10 % every now and again ....What forum members on here from Newport ,Reading .Cov or Oxford still post on here and went to Swindon each week ? i made friends with a quite a few from my time on here and none go on a regular basis most not at all and some may go to cardiff and take in the odd match . If Swindon close and that is likely none of are group will go elsewhere each week

People are saying Kennett was taken sick after his second covid jab .. it that what the crowd were told ?

One of the biggest myths in speedway that fans of closed clubs they go to watch or support other teams ... hardly anyone from Reading ,Oxford ,Newport or Cov have ever gone to Swindon each week Sadly when Your club Closes down and that might happen at Swindon you give up and you don't go again

They were warned by a lot of fans about Gaming internationals proven behaviour but failed to listen the local Mp pretends to be the fans freind but really does not give a rat ass ... it wont be long before he tells them that he is looking for a new site etc what of course he wont be . The local press have been the worst .. they really should have been reporting on the timeline of lies and taking Gaming to task but have done nothing . As it stands most of the houses have been built and gaming can just wait Swindon out making them close

its sad state .. the worst thing is that there is no update from the club on why yet again no work has started .. surely pressure and questions should be asked and then relayed back to the fans . Rather than blaming fans for being negative , how about a statement saying we are fed up with the developers and can no longer trust in anything they say about the building of the stadium .. To me we are going down without a fight .. this just lets hope its gets built attitude is not working . As for the local mp he's been as much use as an ashtray on a speedway bike .
