Glasgow v Edinburgh BSN Series 9/5/25
Mr Blobby replied to eide67's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glasgow win comfortably, yesterdays 4 hour practice session should make it an easy home win. -
Scared of another home defeat to us in a matter of weeks so they’ve got them all up for a 4 hour session. 😂

Now that the comets have had a couple of meetings we might get a reply now as to when they fancy running the KO match, seeing we’ve been waiting on a response since it was originally called off. -

Once again we can’t perform as a team, been an ongoing thing for a while now which makes things difficult for ourselves. This week was the turn of Polis and Paco, didn’t think kye was that great either even though scored okay. Thankfully Victor was tremendous or that would’ve been a third home loss on the bounce. -
Not really. He does have a point 90% of the field are turning up to belle vue knowing they aren’t going to win. Say you spread it out over 3/4 rounds gives a much higher percentage of the field a chance of being crownd British champion.

No he didn’t ride cause he believes it should be over a few rounds like most national championships instead of a one off on a track he knows he’s not going to win on. Very similar reasons as to why Ritchie Worrall never bothered a few years back.

Outside of Cook, the rest shouldn’t cause us too much hassle. Should be a fairly routine home win. However we don’t seem to do things the easy way so who knows. -

Don’t talk rubbish, he’s been dropped nothing to do with getting fit. All you need to do is read Bastians post on his Facebook page, he’s not happy at all. However does work quite well for Berwick to bring smith in as a “28 day replacement” as Kildemand will get a proper average and smith can be replaced by someone with a much higher average. -

Demanding due to the size and roughness of it. Track was better than last week again Glasgow, I know they did a good bit of work on it to try and sort it. -

Done better than expected. Oskar again brilliant, very talented motorcyclist. Sussed the place out after his first ride. Shame Sedgy hand injury was aggravated, went over one of those holes in bend 3 which caused it. Slight concern as it doesn’t seem to have healed from last season so this may be an issue going forward as it seems he’s never actually going to be 100%. Thanks to the guest tonight, Pijper wasn’t disgraced, Harrison gave 100% just struggled out the starts, Edwards done his job and Jye was very good for his first meeting back was just running out of steam. Kye again awful. Not even stagnated anymore he’s actually going backwards. -

Think we’ll do well to score 35 based on last night performance by a couple of them who are actually riding today shame it’s not them missing. -
Probably right choice in going with sedgy off gate 2 in heat 15 even though he was poor all night he’d just won heat 13 off that gate. Mistake was not going with Oskar/Victor off gate 4. Alex is right in what he’s saying there is no consistency from us. Sedgy and kye being prime examples of that last night, but think Alex himself realises the error he made in heat 15 last night.

Also very strange that Klindt had one on at press day which was the only time he’s worn one as has had his own suit on each time since. Maybe doesn’t plan on staying long till Poland comes a calling.
