  1. Taking Hansen or Fisher on 9+ averages would give us what every body has been moaning about for the last few years, weak reserves, as we presume Liam Carr will be in the team personally i would hope we would go down the same route as Scunny and Newcastle with not a top number one but strenth in depth and a good partnet for Liam. 9.5 or 9.7 number one means two 3 point reserves, you can't have it both ways
  2. I would happily take Doolan, can score big points and a very good team man
  3. David being back is a no brainer, and i'm sure he will improve again, potential to be a top PL rider IMO. Well happy with the start
  4. Am i the only one that doesn't understand a word of that ?
  5. Didn't take long eh ? The next blxxdy post, some of them just can't help themselves !
  6. See my post #496. I had a chat with one of the management at the end of the season and he explain that they have enquired about these and other continental riders, but all the U 21 riders will not commit to any where near a full season in the UK
  7. Yes we do. For riders gaining an average in the Prem for the first after moving up from the National League. Your own Lewis Kerr will qualify for a 2.5 % reduction for the next 3 years. I thought YOU would have known that.
  8. Who would miss half the season with World U21 team and individual, European championships etc etc etc.
  9. Alex Davies said on Facebook he was looking for a team place for next year
  10. Would he not miss a lot of meetings due to Longtrack ?
  11. Being British Liam Carr IS a Berwick asset now, as he signed a contract this season, it's only foreigners that have to compete in the requisite amount of meetings to become an asset
  12. I think you should both read the interview again. Ian Rae did not say that Liam wasn't ready for PL, what he said was that with Liam still being at school, he wasn't sure if he was ready for full time PL
  13. Only applies to Polish riders, unless they ride on Uk Licence and commit to every british fixture. As Poland use a squad system this can be done
  14. Yeah, very entertaining around Shielfield, as long as he wasn't partnered with Kozza haha
  15. Abssoloutly brilliant sum raised for Ricky, 15k raised in one night is a marvelous amount, and full credit to Berwick and Sheffield Speedway clubs, brilliant sponsors, generous supporters, all riders and every one who gave up their time free of charge to support this very worthy cause for such a top guy. Get well soon Ricky
  16. Is there anything the club does that DOES please you ? The press release obviously did work as it made you comment on it ! It was noticed and read, Job done !
