No, far from it. But he is the only rider, as far as I know, that has robbed an elderly woman armed with knives whilst out of his head on crack cocaine. There have been many instances where a rider can come back from a drugs ban. Smarty came back from missing a season and a half and was better than ever after it. Roger Lobb made a successful comeback and Nick Morris seems to of done okay. I do think the ban should be longer for being caught under the influence and they should be tested every meeting for the rest of their career. People say its expensive but it really isn't, I was working in the mines in Australia a few years back and drug tests cost them next to nothing. It is mad how it gets out that drug testers are in attendance at tracks which causes riders to suddenly have a van break down on them. Its criminal how a plank like Garrity can do what he has and now seemingly has Havelock and Wilson backing him on his comeback whereas genuine decent lads with equal ability get next to nothing to help them.

I find it absolutely astonishing that people think this piece of dirt should be allowed back into speedway. There are lines between crimes and getting pissed and jumping on a bike, whilst completely irresponsible, is not in the same league as smoking crack and holding up an old woman at gunpoint. He is the lowest of the low. People need to hang their heads in shame comparing him to a rider who has failed a booze or drug test. It is crazy how he didn't get banned before he completely and utterly ballsed his life up. Have heard many stories about his behavior and drugs etc from well before he got banged up.

No, it wasn't for no reason at all. It was because SteveLyric is constantly a pain in the arse on this forum thinking he is above everyone else because he slings some money at Poole speedway. He spends a huge amount of time making a twit of himself on other topics and trying his best to cause trouble. Ask the Plymouth fans. As for me calling Steve Shovlar a parasite, anyone who still communicates with a convicted paedophile knowing what they have done is a parasite in my eyes. Shovlar was liking SCBs posts on this forum when he came back on trying to defend his past actions. Ive also seen tweets being liked between the two since he got released from prison as well. Frank Smart was chasing Stancl in the opener and Stancl pulled a huge locker and Smart avoided him and come down and was somehow excluded. Stancl went all meeting unbeaten and needed to win heat 15 for a Glasgow win but Wato and Puk got a 5-1 over him and won us the match. Great times.

Bonkers that people are slating Louis for this. The sport is an absolute mess in the UK and he clearly wants no part of it going forward. Dont blame him one bit. the championship is no better than the top flight. Look at the crowds, they are disgraceful. i started attending speedway in 98, the first five year the standard in both leagues was top , all the top gp riders rode in the top league except one or two and the premier league was full of top stars. Doubling up was never much of an issue as the premier league took preference and the top league team had to have two double uppers to share a spot so fixture clashes very rarely happened. Around 2004 ish they started messing about with grading systems, doubling up became more farcical and both leagues started dropping points limits and the rot set in. I am amazed we still have three tiers of speedway in 2025 but look how many clubs have shut in the last 20 odd years. newport, arena essex, rye house, exeter, trelawny, swindon, reading, newcastle, isle of wight, somerset, pboro, wolves to name a few. There will probably be more. If Louis sticks to his guns then this maybe the huge rocket up the arse that the sport needs.

The problem is he doesn't like to turn up and prefers two day binges to speedway. Even when he does decide to rock up, he is way off what he once was.

He has history of packing up at the back all the time and throwing his toys out of the pram. i remember there was some knob on here before who boasted about how much money he invested in Kemp. Where is he now to defend such pathetic behaviour? The sport is full of young lads thinking they are the dogs bollocks with their big vans etc but make wallys of themselves on live tv with such weak mentality. he comes across as dull as ditch water in interviews as well. fans pay their money to watch 15 heats of 4 riders trying their best and when you see repeat offenders like him taking the p""s then it needs calling out.
