  1. I think Ippo could easily afford a replacement for Doyle if needed. Its crazy to see how well they are doing without him and a well under par Emil.
  2. Poole look teririble atm. Cant see them getting close to the title. Got to hand it to Gavan and Ippo, spent years tormenting Poole compared to Ippo and now look at the size difference between both clubs 😂😂 kerr and starke need replacing asap for Poole.

  4. Newport used to come up and race at Glasgow on a Thursday night , Edinburgh Friday and Berwick Saturday before usually having a home meeting in the Sunday. Great days.
  5. I think a lot of the chasing pack go missing at crunch time which is the difference. As someone previously said, BZ seems to step it up a few levels when it matters whilst the others dont on a consistent basis.
  6. I thought Lambert would be his biggest challenger to be fair but even if he is, all challengers are way off Zmarzlik. Emils best chance of world title was around the time he was fighting with Woffy the year Woffy won his first title and Emil got injured. He then got fit and opted out the GP series for a while for whatever reason. It is ridiculous that Laguta and Emil are both not welcome due to being Russian when so many other sports are allowing Russians to compete. I can only think that there is a deeper reasoning behind it all...maybe things were said from one of the riders or both to the governing body at the time of the ban and they aren't flavor of the month with the organizers?
  7. Its hard to see anyone stopping Zmarzlik in the next 3/4 years. He could well go on to be a 10x world champion. as good a rider as Laguta is, I don't see him getting anywhere near Zmarzlik in the GPs now.

  9. Its only natural for fans to want changes early doors if results are off. It must be a huge worry for Worky with Tate Z being so off it. That crash last season has hit him for six by the looks of it. He was superb last season before it, had the style and speed but it just proves that one big knock can reck your confidence. Hopefully after a few meetings he gets his confidence back as Worky need him hitting potential to be challenging.

  11. Don't be saying that, you will have people trying to tear into you for it. Even though your bang on the money.
  12. It is amusing seeing fans behaving so bitter towards Ippo this season. I have no link to them but I hope they win the league at a canter this season then the playoffs. It does remind me somewhat of when Poole used to waltz to the title and the other clubs would all be bitter about it. With Gavan being an Ippo fan and never getting along with him on this forum I can't believe I am writing it but he seems to of calmed down in recent years so don't mind saying it.
  13. Certain BV fans have a very short memory it seems, it wasn't too long ago they served up dross week after week at Kirky Lane with a poor team to boot most years.
  14. There is no doubt Guy Nicholls has ploughed decent coin into Ipswich but in all fairness, they had years of floating round at the bottom whilst other clubs were splashing the cash so can't really begrudge them even if they are spending big money. The side they have built looks ridiculous, the fact the top 3 are scoring so poor by their own standards and they are still winning is ominous for the rest of the league. When Doyle and Emil get going it will take some team to stop them.
  15. Last few times I have watched him he just looks like he is riding a lawnmower. Put him on decent gear and he would be a cert to stick a few points on his average I reckon. Also agree regarding his interview, says it how it is and actually has a passion for the sport.
  16. You haven't answered my point about junkies robbing innocent people of their hard earned , do you sympathise with them? I have my views and you have yours. Time to move on.
  17. Course not mate but you never hear about anyone who gambles and wins and makes a profit as being a gambling addict do you, only the ones who lose then cry and moan and try claiming mental health on it when really its greed that gets them into it. I gamble a few times a year , this year on the two big horse races and a couple of times on the footy, and done well. Last year the complete opposite. Id never get drawn into being "addicted" to it though.
  18. Why, because you think people should feel sorry for addicts? You don't hear people defending junkies on the street who are hooked on smack and crack and god knows what else. When they break into someones house or car or mug someone on the street. People want them slung in the slammer and rightly so as its where they belong. Addiction being ruled as an illness or mental illness is absolutely ridiculous. If Cook has a genuine mental illness and is traumatized by something then of course I would feel bad for what I have said regarding him. The rumors are (not for the first time) he has a massive booze problem and therefore is unable to show for work because of it. If that is false then I will be the first to apologize. I have sat through hours and hours of toolbox talks in Australia on mental health and have come face to face with people who have suffered massive family tragedy and come out the other side without resorting to drugs or booze (or gambling). I will add that the fact gambling is classed as a mental illness is absolutely pathetic. If your thick enough to gamble away money needed to support yourself or family then that is your decision and yours only. Nothing ever comes good out of gambling that's why casino and bookie owners are so rich. I am the first to admit I am outspoken at times but some of the reactions on here is exactly why the world is how it is today. Snowflakes and people tip toeing about in case they offend someone. Craig Cook has let both Leicester and Berwick down at the drop of a hat right before the season starts and has still not came out and explained why. As I said before, why does he hold a current license if he has genuine mental health problems? People can say its a disgusting comment all they want, its still a very valid question.
  19. Its all self inflicted . for instance, someone going out and buying and trying heroin for the first time leading to addiction has nobody to blame but themselves. Why should anybody feel sorry for them? Loads of people go through trauma in life, most dont turn to booze or drugs. i didn't hear anybody jumping to Darcy Wards defence when he turned up over the limit at a GP. Or is it different because he hadn't claimed he had a mental illness? If cook has a genuine mental illness then he should not even be holding a license in the first place. He would be a danger to others on track. regarding the Google point I made, well google his name and look at one of the first things to come up.
  20. Same as heroin addiction then or do you sympathise with them too?

  22. I have every sympathy for people with genuine mental health problems. Believe me I have seen it and had a close friend commit suicide just before covid . I was on site the day a boy jumped off a high rise next door to the one we were building. Don't f''king come on here talking to me about mental health and how it affects people. I have seen and dealt with enough of it. it is exactly that reason why I posted what I did - there is a huge difference between mental health and behaving like he does. Use google and look up his name , its all on there.
