Bowes has been superb since the break , he has been highly rated for some time so if Worky get him and Tate scoring like this consistently then they have a great core for the rest of the year and hopefully next season too.

Stop talking rubbish. Look at his scores this season, hardly ground breaking stuff is it? He he had been beaten by Starke and Cairns in his first heat, beat his team mate in his next then ended up crashing in his third. They are the facts, so no Workington weren't unlucky lose him especially when the other reserve is flying. And certainly no Poole fan, can't stand them. Used to like Shovlar's posts back in the day before they lost any comedy value. And he has openly spoke with a known, disgraced paedophile on social media who used to post on this forum. I admire Poole's winning history but I have absolutely no respect for the fans who post on here.

I am no Poole fan by any means, in fact I find Shovlar, SteveLyric, Starman, Lisa Collette etc unbearable. But some of the comments on here are well off. You can't say Workington would of won with Batch on form, Voulas on form, if Foord had finished the meeting, if Tate Z had rode etc. Riders have good and bad nights, look at Poole. Thomsen having a nightmare, Rowe being well off it clearly not fit. It is more likely that those two have a good meeting than Batchelor and Voulas away from home so it is probably a case of Workington being lucky those pair were off form. Foord as I have posted elsewhere is well over hyped and done absolutely nothing before crashing out. Hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season either so his score of 1 away from home is not exactly surprising. And from looking at the results, the Comets seemed to cope with no Tate pretty well only dropping two points from his rides. So as much as it would of been good to see Poole get spanked, I think the comments about Poole being lucky are off the mark.

Would be plenty of arguments. Say a rider retires leading his first race then reels off 3 easy wins but cant race in a last heat decider because two riders who have had an extra ride and got 10 points are the top two? Should always be able to choose who you want in heat 15, its called the nominated riders heat for a reason.

Riders taking the piss out of British Speedway is one of if not the main reason for its huge decline. That is a absolute bollocks Cook saying he can ride Polish tracks but not British ones. Laughable that anyone would even remotely consider falling for such rubbish. Ban him from British Speedway for 12 months then when his Polish form in 2026 drops off and they bin him he will soon regret it.

Tate Z seems to be regaining some form, Worky look a different animal if he stays fit and keeps this form up. Two good scores in two nights should do him the world of good. Regarding Kerr, to be honest he was a weird Poole signing from the get go. On the way down, very rarely completes a full season and very little scope for improvement. Starke you knew what you were going to get but has added to his average, absolutely zero point dropping him now. People going on about Foord yet his average is half a point below Starke according to a few on this thread and Starke is taking more rides as well.

That dj karlito is a whopper of the highest order. The fact they use him shows how clueless the people running the sport really are. i have seen him on twitter arguing with some proper experienced speedway people and making an absolute helmet of himself.

You simply cannot expect fans to part with hard earned cash to turn up and watch a poor product. Why should they? It is high time now more than ever that one big league was formed, 5 rider teams and race once home and away then top 4 to play offs and so on. The Gp riders returning haven't brought the crowds back so do away with them.

What I think everyone needs to grasp is that speedway is just not a trendy sport and there is no younger generation of fans flocking through the gates anymore. Its 99.9 percent surviving on the old guard. Ok, there will be one or two clubs who are making a decent profit from good crowds but they are very much in the minority. The amount of clubs that have closed in the last few decades speaks volumes. The sport in the UK has been wrecked by lazy promoters who wont drag the club they promote into the 21st century, scruffy stadiums, ridiculous rule changes by the governing body and riders taking the complete urine. Thats just a couple of major problems, the list is endless. I have said it for years now, the only way out of this is to completely re format British Speedway and change the league structure. Two leagues sharing the same riders with riders missing every meeting just don't work.
