  1. Quite simple really, NKI and Pedersen were declared fully fledged gp riders at the start of 2017... Kildemand wasnt. He was a reserve. Its like calling a reserve in a 1-7 team a heatleader because he rides in heat 13 every meeting as an r/r or a reserve change!! peter kildemand at the start of 2017 was first reserve for the gp series therefore not a declared GP rider. Its as simple as that. And no, he doesnt become a fully fledged gp rider because of injuries, as had nicki, niels and whoever else was injured all came back, he would of been back out of the series. Sadly there were injuries and he raced AS A RESERVE for most of the series . He was never a fully fledged grand prix rider at any point in 2017. No matter how fair you think it is or isnt, its there for all to see. his signing for Poole is 100 percent legit. Accept it and move on ffs.
  2. 70 dont think so squire, my job pays well enough here my nailbag and hammer will be well and truly hung up by the time I am 50, enjoying a happy retirement on golden beaches with an ice cold lager. Watch you dont do your back in stacking too many boxes of cheap Lidls wine pal, make sure you bend your knees and keep your back straight when lifting old man
  3. How am I licking matt ford asshole? Stating it how it is. Your club could of chose Kildemand instead of Morris but didnt. Yet another post showing you up for what you are, a dunce whos mid fifties and still stacks shelves for a living. Australia is going great thanks, Working away on the 36th level of a skyscraper in 28 degrees sunshine. Off for a few beers in 90 minutes. Hows the night shift in Lidls going on 8 quid an hour?
  4. Kildemand for Holder is perfectly legit... Kildemand was named as a reserve so not a declared GP rider. Another shrewd piece of work by Ford, this is why he is the best promoter of the modern era. You’d be hoping Kildemand is a hit straight away as on form I would put him down as a huge improver and one of the leagues top dogs. Could well make Poole much stronger. Would they risk letting him go for Holder if he Kildemand is flying?
  5. Eating humble pie? I very much doubt that. that Newcastle side named is absolutely dreadful. Even if the final rider is unbeatable it still looks poor. Its been built with zero ambition. Plenty of entertainers yes, but full of journeymen. Can’t fault the riders signed its not their doing, its awful team building from a promotion and management who should know better. hope Wilko has a good year, one of the good guys in speedway and always a favorite of mine at Newport. Never a dull moment with Carl in a race thats for sure! But unless changes are made, this side will be rock bottom.
  6. The obvious answer to that is drop down a league? and to Steve Park, when you lose every single meeting, which looking at other line ups looks extremely likely, come back and call it a ridiculous comment. Tool.
  7. The paying public should not be expected to pay full price to see that side put out. Sorry but its atrocious. Its borderline Mildenhal 08(?) standard, even the Newport 2005 team with Vidal as number 1 on a 3.5 average
  8. That side is absolutely dreadful it must be said, anyone paying to watch that every week must need their heads read.
  9. Quick google search found these: http://mike-patrick.com/01/01Docs/0324.1.html
  10. They used Troy lee designs motocross style suits for a few years, definately. And they looked pretty good too .
  11. Most speedway riders are soft touches and knowing Kim, as much as a decent lad he is, he would probably be one of the biggest soft touches. Time for riders to put their foot down. F$$k being owed that much for a job so dangerous. Absolute farce, Lakeside Speedway should be ashamed of themselves.
  12. The Coventry ones, made by I think Troy Lee designs, actually looked pretty good.
  13. Absolute farce that riders get banned for refusing to ride if their not being paid. I would never ever stand for it, recently left my job and got a new one due to none of the lads on site being paid. Should be paid every week without fail and if its a week late, employer should add a percentage on as compensation for your late wage. Something that needs a huge look at
  14. Gollob was very good on big tracks however on the smaller ones he wasnt. Hence why id rate hancock, nicki, tai etc above him... they can ride any shaped tracks which makes them better riders
  15. Always makes me laugh reading/hearing stuff like this. The same as people who buy cheap work boots in construction and then moan their uncomfortable/falling apart quickly. £1000 is naff all for a suit that the rider will wear at least 30 times over an 8 month period.
  16. Crump won more titles because he was the better rider. Being ruthless and slamming the door closed on riders behind is part of being a good speedway rider. Look, I have no bias towards either rider but Crumps individual acheivements outclass Adams by some margin.
  17. Lorams win was a one off season, apart from that season Adams probably finished above him in every other gp season and in the averages every season. Crump was sublime in the leagues, was on the podium ten years on the bounce in the gps, won three world titles and in my opinion that makes him a far better rider than Adams who in fairness was majestic in the leagues but not a patch on Crump individually.
  18. Crump obviously had something Adams didnt, and that got him three world titles to Adams 0. I liked both but I find it hard to argue with the fact that individually, Crump was a far better rider.
  19. Crump was far better tham Leigh Adams... winning three world titles to Adams 0 during the same era.
  20. I would put Bjarne down as still a quality rider in this league, should comfortably average 8.5 plus.
  21. Lund was pretty good at Newport but was always pretty poor on away tracks. He had a horrible injury at Newport in the same meeting Wato first done his ankle in and that was the end of him as a six point man. He lived on the farm with NKI and Mads K. NKI never went out partying, the other pair did. Then look at how their careers panned out!
  22. I am no Poole fan, I am just saying it how it is. It just looks head and shoulders above anything else named this season.
  23. Cook vs kurtz - kurtz is improving at a fast rate, is only marginally behind Cooks average now and has expierienxe at number one in the top flight whereas Cook hasnt. Come October I would say Kurtz will higher average so I would probably go with him. Fricke vs Holder - Holder all day long , he wont be world champ again but if he has his head remotely screwed on there is plenty of room to add to his figure. Fricke didnt kick on as hoped last season. Tungate vs Sundstrom - Sundstrom all day long. Worrall vs Josh G - hard one but Josh G averaged more last season and that was from riding at 1 in a struggling side. Then you throw in the two Poles and this Poole side looks brilliant. If they avoid injuries I cannot see anyone touching them, and that is just with the Poles adding to their figures. The top three could all add a point if not more to their aves.
  24. If you think cook, fricke, worrall and tungate is as strong as Holder, Sundstrom, kurtz and Josh g, i think your very much mistaken
