Yawn Just get it off the calendar
-
I did, that's why I said GP ;-) I am generalizing here as well, usually, it's pretty bog standard fare in Vojens.
-
Cant remember the last decent GP here. It's a trappers track. Strong motors, gate and you ain't being passed. Another one that should be nowhere near the calendar.

Another gaters paradise.

Peterborough v Belle Vue 5/9/2019
acef replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I will be very, very surprised if Max rides in the uk next season. He is no longer based in the country and will have the GPs, Poland, Sweden and quite possibly Denmark. After this season, I expect that Bjerre will go to Peterborough. I think Chapman will pay him accordingly now. Keep Lidsey, go for Chris Holder and potentially keep Dan. -

You've been waiting for that moment haven't you? You should go out and get a life. For the record. You are correct. -

And that's season over. Paid for a lack of changes and a lack forward thinking. -

Hmmm Bjerre. Peterborough I dont like that scenario. I smell a rat -
Only when it comes to selling. We were loyal to craig and vice versa but had we owned him then we could have got a transfer fee.

There is also the possibility that Poole could throw there home meeting vs Ipswich for a number of reasons. If they are in a position where losing will still see them top and have the pick, then there is every chance they would prefer to face Ipswich over bv. Average manipulation too. Just saying -

So I was wrong in a way. It is in ipswichs hands but I cant see them getting anything in poole so technically it's down to bv tonight. Watch Peterborough go and win now lol -

Wolves are in. They will win at Peterboro. Belle Vue will win tonight. And get the 4 points. Its all on Ipswich. There destiny is in there own hands, win tonight and what Belle Vue do will matter not. Edit that actually, ipswich and bv will both tie on 42 points if both win and take maximum points tonight. Assuming ipswich do nothing at Poole, where does that leave the table -

Well, if Belle Vue dont take 4 points here I'll jump off a cliff. Easy easy win now. Tomorrow will be a big night for 3 of the teams. -
Both of us will qualify. I can’t see Ipswich getting another point this season.

Its different for speedway riders potentially because they are self employed. I'm pretty certain the law states that you can self cert for 7 days as an employee.

Slag him off? What a snowflake you are.

But that would only happen if the injury wasnt genuine. Surely a sick note would sort it out.

If he was ill yesterday and clearly at risk today, why travel? Its selfish and I suspect there is more going on than on the face of it.

Ipswich v Swindon 5/9/19
acef replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
This is the risk with Poole at +15. I'd say the likelihood of you finishing top is slim and you are in the play offs anyway, so a view to next year will always be beneficial. I agree that wolves will pose you more problems than BV or Ipswich so it does, as wrong as it is, make sense to *maybe* throw this meeting. For BV last nights result was more pivotal because I dont see Ipswich getting anything at poole, essentially meaning a 4 point win will book them the final play off place. Wolves destiny could very much be in the hand of Swindon. Only in speedway, eh? ;-) Edit: not even sure of you are a Swindon fan so advanced apologies for speaking in the first term. -
You will finish top looking at it. Agreed nobody is beating Swindon. That team always had the potential.
-
Dont see any hope for Ipswich at Poole, it's as good as in BVs hands now. Take all the points at Peterboro and we are in, even if Ipswich beat Swindon at home. Massive door opened for both BV and Wolves tonight. Will we both take it?
