  1. Point still remains, 2 horrible fixtures for Ipswich.
  2. A point at Peterboro may well be enough for BV now? That's assuming that the witches score no more points
  3. Well, Swindon and Poole neck and neck for top spot and choice of opponent. Swindon will go to Ipswich in the form of their lives and desperate for a win, then the witches must go to poole with poole also searching for a win. 2 terrible fixtures whilst in their worst form of the season. Going to take one all mighty effort from the Witches to get in now.
  4. Bit of a dilemma with berge. He will likely score well at Peterboro and if that means we qualify, the consequence is that he will be largely ineffective in them. Is what it is. For me, I'm not really arsed about winning. I just want 2 banker home meetings in terms of crowd. Its money we cant afford to turn away, same for the rest of the league I guess.
  5. I think wolves will win at Peterboro. There is a really strong chance we will tie on points. That home defeat to wolves 2 weeks ago was absolutely catastrophic for me. We simply had to win it. Unfortunately some rain levelled the track and max was injured. Unfortunate set of circumstances but wolves can only beat what is in front of them and that they did. Ultimately I think that result could prove vital for wolves.
  6. The chips will be down for BV at Peterboro and I expect we will win by enough margin to take 4 points. If berge stays, he will do ok at the show ground. The issue is I'm not convinced that will be enough. Before Ipswich made the changes I thought they would miss out but NKI is a massive boost. It takes pressure of others and I think they will win tonight. Its between ourselves and wolves for the last place imo.
  7. Poole strengthened a bit there with THJ. Ipswich strengthened with NKI. BV sit idle and do absolutely nothing. Berge a no show yesterday. He should be gone and we should be sourcing a replacement.
  8. Great move and a great time to make it. That's ipswich in the play offs now. Straight shoot out between BV and Wolves, and Peterborough are going to have a big say in which team makes it.
  9. It's in your hands. NKI going to ippo will give them a boost. They will finish on 42 minimum now. Belle Vue can only match that. Right now, for me, its bv who will miss out. But like belle vue, you simply have to win at Peterboro, 2 home wins wont cut it if bv take all 4 points at the show ground. Have a feeling your victory at NSS is going to be crucial in this run. Injuries are part and parcel of sport but of we miss out cause of Frickes injury that'll be a real stinger
  10. They have finally updated the league table. In short. If BV want to qualify they simply have to take 4 points at Peterboro. Ipswich have Poole and Swindon at home, with a visit to Poole as well. In their current form, that is a tough run but I think they will win one of those home meetings and finish on at least 42 points. Who have wolves got left? Kings Lynn at home, poole away and who else?
  11. It's going to be very tight. I expect at the most Ipswich will beat poole at home but that looks unlikely at the moment. For me, they will get a maximum of 42 points. Belle vue will win at peterboro. That's 42 points. It's a toss up between those 2 teams. If ipswich lose at home to poole they are done.
  12. Do wonder if it was deliberately done that track prep. Never seen it like that. Suited us great, and tbh, I'd have thought KL would have got dialled in after few races, they race a track like that every other week. Aces just wanted it more and were gating like demons, especially Jaimon who was rapid out the tapes.
  13. They water it every bank holiday when it's hot like this. It's not bone dry, but there definitely isn't the same amount of moisture as a night match, naturally in this heat. No dust at all but it's still riding really quick and is very grippy. Miracle how they done that in such hot weather.
  14. Worst meeting I've ever seen at the NSS, absolutely dreadful. For whatever reason its riding extremely quickly despite it being so dry. And kings Lynn look like they cant be arsed
  15. In 90% of cases I'd agree but this is the NSS we are talking about. Very unusual. Normally non starts provide the best racing but its frankly been awful. It's probably riding to quick.
  16. Weird this. Track real dry but its riding sooo fast. Think it will start to break up now and racing should improve. All been from the gate so far
  17. He doesnt need more racing because the issue is in his head. He isn't going to ride himself out of it. Woffinden was right. Its mental and frankly dan needs to grow a pair of balls. He has started to ride within himself and is timid on the track. I can see it and so can a multi world champion. I appreciate he is coming back from big injuries but unfortunately this is a tough motorsport and the best way to recover is to attack it. I was slandered on here earlier in the season for daring to suggest he needed a crash that would test his body, it would cope and he would be back where he needs to be mentally. Hes always been fragile dan. From that first head injury up at Newcastle. Motorsport is a mans game and until he shakes this crash out of his psyche he is going to become a very average rider and that is what we are seeing right now. Cant gate. No track craft because he isn't in the right place mentally. What he needs is a psychologist to help him overcome it, not more rides. May be an unpopular opinion but that is the way I see it.
  18. Paid 11 from Bewley and Worral and RR 4. Bewley is a shadow of the rider from last season and needs to, as woffinden said, grow some backbone. Granted he had a bad smash but that is clearly in his head still. Cant gate either. Steve is just terribly inconsistent and I'd hope he isn't offered a place next season.
  19. Yes. That would have impacted my decision to come. Once it's a lack of communication from a speedway club. The club knew had they said that many would have stayed away.
  20. What is more shocking is that nobody from the club had the balls to tell us. Instead took our money. Bang out of order
