  1. The Nicki P statement is interesting to read but personally I think he's only trying to justify his downright unacceptable riding and behavior . Lets be honest though , there's no smoke without fire and he is certainly at the center of far too many controversial incidents to be the innocent one !
  2. An incident in the Gp last night where he kicked Zagar in the nuts and it moved on from there into the pits.
  3. MBE = Monumental Bell End !!! How appropriate to the above were his actions on a day the Queen announced her Birthday honours list ? Good job he's not British . Just a Pantomime villain or a truly nasty piece of work ? Opinions please .
  4. I think Mr P reached a whole new level of naughtyboyness tonight !
  5. Yes , Plymouth somehow beat Peterborough in the quarters and im sure they will feel more confident against us than they would have against Somerset in the Semi's . However , we now have to fit this one into the schedule . We had a blank week this Thursday , next week is also blank ( no doubt due to England world cup match ) , a meeting v Rye on the 26th then another forced blank week due to World hot rod finals at Foxhall ! So the first available Thursday possibility isn't till 2 months time on 14th August . It seems it could be much later in the season this happens or its done on an alternative night . We await news .
  6. Well , I for one would like think we can beat Plymouth over a two legged semi final but I also think they've improved since our double over them earlier in the season .
  7. There you go , never a doubt on the overall outcome ! Huh hmmm .
  8. I have an incling that you might be on something, what is it so I can pluck your kind of belief from somewhere ?
  9. That would be a yes, as you know there's no tactical rides so 26 is the target! Of course we only got 27 last time using 2 tacticals so who knows, anythings possible with a bad day at the office!
  10. If it's the the same Witches that turned up last time at the OTA then I would say you still have a chance. However, I do believe we have improved a bit since then and Chris Louis has made it clear that a repeat of that is not acceptable. I don't think this tie is over.
  11. It's only just occurred that we have a blank week at Ipswich on the 19th , I wonder if this was forethought or just a lucky coincidence , hmmm
  12. I must admit I think we could still be beaten by a fair margin but surely we ought to be able muster more than the 25 Somerset managed at Foxhall ? I know we were woeful at the OTA on our first visit this season but just maybe we'll be better prepared this time . As always , here's hoping !
  13. My original point about Worrall was not about getting rid of him it was about the fact that there seems to be some kind of curse or hex on the no 1 race jacket at Foxhall ! Maybe it's something do do with the fact that we are " The Witches " Spooky or what ?????
  14. Pleased with a league point from this , seriously wish I could have made it up there , maybe next time . One problem though that seems to be a yearly recurrent theme is what the hell happens as soon any rider puts on the number 1 race jacket for the Witches ? It's like a kiss of death ! Year on year our No 1's start going downhill , last year Barker looked like a beginner and this year Richie W seems to be heading in the wrong direction . Has anybody got even the remotest of clue what we're doing to them ?
  15. Baldy , Sue needs a texter ! Alas the best laid plans did not come to fruition and im stuck in Ipswich 90 odd miles away but will still be rooting for the Witches from afar . Hopefully following on updates If Sue can find someone .
  16. I think for me the " YOU HAVE TWO MINUTES! " message before every race is far more irritating than the National Anthem. I find It really grinding.
  17. Also now hopeful of making the trip but when you have a job like mine ( a service engineer ) I could literally be anywhere in East Anglia at 5-00pm . With any luck and some underhand scheming I may just make it .
  18. Would love to be able to go to this in the hope of doing better than Good Friday and maybe nicking something from it . A team full of confidence after battering Somerset ought to be able to improve on their previous visit , well hopefully anyway .
  19. Well , Ritchie Hawkins definitely didn't let you down from a heat leader position !
  20. Tonight the track was really grippy and Somerset never really got the hang of it . Great all round performance with everyone scoring well for the Witches ! You never know we might have half a chance of winning over the two legs but the overall result could well depend on the choice's of guests for Richie and Adam and how they perform . We've lost at their place by 40 already this year so anything is possible . Although I hate to say it I don't think this tie is over . I'm sure we can't as bad this time , can we ?
  21. Do any of you Rebels fans out there know what you're riding order will be on Thursday and has the new averages had any effect on who's in the reserve positions?
  22. Let's get the facts right about the recent fans non forum. It was myself who asked when it was finished about a question and answer session only to be told " That's not how it's run and never has been ". When I suggested that a forum is about discussion and debate Chris Louis and Kevin Long ( Host) grudgingly agreed to put one in next time. So questions at the time were not an option and don't hold you're breath for them coming to fruition.
  23. I have believed for some time that the Morten/Cam partnership needed separating but wasn't really sure what other options would actually work . It seems to me that Morten and Gino should be a fairly potent pairing but if Cam continues his poor run of form it will put a lot more pressure on Richie W who himself isn't exactly having the most consistent of seasons . Will be interesting to see how this change pans out . On the meeting front I will certainly be hopeful of a half decent sized home win but I doubt if it will anywhere near enough to trouble the Rebels over the 2 legs . But then again I wasn't expecting us to win at Rye on Saturday so you never know !
  24. Maybe it was all an evil Rye House plan to somehow win the meeting , dodgy fish and chips all round !
