As a side issue , does anyone yet actually know what the team lineups are going to be ?

Im not liking the look of a couple of the weather forecasts for tomorrow . Random thunderstorms potentially throughout the day ! All the speculation on scores and how some of the riders perform may yet be irrelevant . Hope not though , we have rather been starved of speedway in Ipswich of late .

On paper plenty to play for maybe ??? Out of League cup . Not even in Prem league 4's . Not a cat's chance in the Prem league pair's . Maybe make the playoffs ( hopefully ) . In KO cup semi with a decent shot of the final . Not exactly my idea of plenty but still possibilities there for the taking if the Witches can get their arses in gear and find a bit of form and consistency !

Well I've looked at about 4 different forecasts for you Baldy and they all say rain from about 1-00pm continuing on and off to late at night . If I was in your position I certainly wouldn't make that trek !

The fact of how the overall team average has gone down by more or less what Cams has done speaks for itself really . I've been very pleased with Gino , Morten and Ritchie H this season so far and Rohan has improved of late now he can be bothered , however for me the biggest disappointments have been Cam and Adam . I thought they would have really stepped it up but alas they've gone completely the other way ! Richie W also seems to be heading in the wrong direction im afraid . So the old school report for half ish of the team is ' Must try harder '

Also the move by Kildermand on MJJ had carnage written all over it !

Agreed , Cardiff was not good last year either ! Although it appears this is the last one for Parken anyway .

The big question is what type of form will Kicki in the nuts ( sorry Nicki ) Pedersen be in ? Will Mr Zagar have revenge on his agenda ? I just hope it's a safe meeting for everyone and a Woofy win of course!

Also ref the point about Adam at the start of the season his bikes looked quick , now they don't ! Is this a mechanical thing , is he riding too much , is it a lack of confidence or maybe he's just taken one too many heavy knocks recently ? All I said in my previous post was to strengthen the side by replacing an underperforming rider and we have more than one of those , I was not being specific .

Do we really think the promotion is going to release anybody ??? As others have said now is definitely the time to do it if at all , seldom in recent years have we actually had the points to play with to genuinely strengthen the team . Come on CL you were man enough to admit you weren't getting the best out of the team and step down as team manager now show your mettle and replace someone who's underperforming ! Lets be honest , it isn't going to happen is it ???

Well the result looked like an easy win but it took till ht8 for the Witches to get really dialed in . Early on we seemed slow out of the traps and on the track , not helped of course by Richie Worralls early meeting woes . I admit after 7 heats i thought we were in danger of another abysmal performance but the boys turned it round very well indeed ! Overall a decent win and a much needed 3 league points .

I think Chris Louis stepping down as team manager qualifies to be on this thread rather than an individual meeting one so let's take it up from here then . It wasn't a change I was expecting that's for sure and he obviously feels he's not getting the best out of the team ! As he said in his statement it will give him more time to work with individuals which im site can only be a good thing . Lets hope the change will give the riders a different type of leadership and provide the motivation for us to kick on and comfortably make the playoffs . Here's hoping ( as always )

Well , the Chris Louis statement says he's not happy with the team and certain individuals need to buck their ideas up , blah blah blah but still says no changes would happen . A nice cushy little position to be in as a rider heh ? Ride poorly with no threat of being sacked ! Don't get me wrong in any way , the team's potential is phenominal and just seems to need the right preparation and motivation to achieve it . Who knows where that's going to come from though ? I go for a reasonable size home win Thursday to renew the teams confidence , hopefully ! Oh and a slight side issue , " Baldy , you're cynical " ! Well you did say call you cynical .

Somebody said they would run a lap of Foxhall naked before Thursdays meeting if Richie W did as well as Ben Barker did at Glasgow last year! And he did. I wonder if he read about this.

I've heard their bringing purple helmets next season !

I must admit last year's team was devastated with injuries at crunch time when it came to the trophy meetings of the season but this year the inconsistency has been unbelievable .

Well what do we all think after our weekend tour of Scunny , Worky and Glasgow then ? Personally I am immensely disappointed with just 1 league point from meetings against patched up incomplete teams . I think the riders need to take a look at themselves and come up with some answers as to why they were so poor ! I could almost understand it against full strength teams but none of them were . Ultimately we pay their wages in our entrance fees and have had a few decent results at home , Somerset particularly but generally speaking we've been unconvincing at best ! No doubt the changes/no changes debate will rear its head again but personally I just want to know what's actually going on in their heads at the moment ? Coz let's be honest it ain't working ! The way things are going we might struggle to make the top half of the league when all the other teams catch up on the fixtures . Anyone got any ideas why a team with so much potential is so poor most of the time ???

We just don't seem to have a team with a spine ! What a god awful 3 days of speedway from one of the on paper better sides in the league . I seriously think most of the 1 to 7 in our lineup need to grow a pair and put it on the line for the supporters ! To be continued on the Ipswich 2014 thread me thinks .

Oh , he knows what he's doing with his bike alright ! That's his problem , controversy has always surrounded him and now he's not as good as he used to be he's getting worse with his moves to get an extra point or two . People have said on here that he's a nice guy outside of speedway, that may well be the case but I'm sure lots of boxers are really nice guys out of the ring. They still get into one and try to beat the c#ap out of each other though! I know it's a different sport but comparisons can be made.

Having been battered at Scunny and spectacularly grabbed a defeat from the jaws of victory at Worky I can only imagine that the Witches confidence will be pretty low for this encounter ! Had we won last night I would have given us a great chance for some points but I think we are ripe for the taking . We have massive potential but humongous great inconsistency which is our downfall at the moment ! Mid table mediocrity rules once again after everyone else catches up with their meetings in hand . I think I might be hugely disappointed yet again after tonight , im not optimistic .

Well another classic example of the Witches snatching another defeat from the jaws of victory by the sounds of it . Did all the hard work to get a lead and blew it !

The Witches don't exactly have a great record for getting results here but at least we have a full team for this meeting , if Worky had their first choice lineup I would be predicting a huge home win . However , before our visit to Scunny I would have had high hopes of nicking something but now I think only a minor battering is on the cards .

Well we did appear to be coming into some sort of form before our visit to Scunny but our legendary inconsistency doesn't bode well for the weekend visits to Worky and yourselves !

As I'm not that convinced about the Witches consistency at the moment I'm going to go for a reasonably comfortable home victory with the hope of maybe snatching something .
