Panthers V Sheffield (pl) Weds 25/6/14
Panthers89 replied to Crump99's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sheffield should do well around the EOES, so should be a good meeting. Olly Greenwood riding at Stoke right now, so will he be returning? -
S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk

Garrity no where near ready yet. Woffinden Harris Cook Barker/King We always say give the youngsters a chance, but till there good enough, you cant. Bridger or Lambert probably the best chance to come in and mix it up a little bit. Richie Worrall hasn't done much in either league, Garrity has done well, but to be in the WTC no chance, Kerr was doing well but not upto the standard yet either. There is no one else really since the severe decline with Kennett to come in. -
so is Perry signing for Plymouth...... that's the question.

Nicki Pedersen. Mbe ?
Panthers89 replied to Super Blue's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Without Nicki P, the GP's would have a major hole in them, there isn't one rider in the world, who pushes things to the edge as him, and goes for moves that not many riders would. Most of the time, they come off, but when they don't, then that's when people pipe up. I'd rather have 7 Nicki's in my team though, who gives 110%, and is box office, rather than 7 dull riders -
Panthers V Workington (lcsf) Tues 17/6/14
Panthers89 replied to Crump99's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
All depends on the guests tbh, can see Lawson guesting for Josh. Can see a healthy Panthers win if that would be the case still, maybe by 12-14, which would leave the 2nd leg all to play for. -

Doing a decent job of that anyway, Greenwood has shown more promise this season, being able to pass people also helps. -

Peterborough V Ipswich Tues 10/06/14
Panthers89 replied to hans fan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Superb meeting last night, thought the track was crap to start with but got better. Worrall was awful for Ipswich, riding so stupidly wide everytime, and going backwards. Risager and Tungate impressive, as was Gino, much improved on last time, so credit to him. Panthers were OK.... Ully was naff, Ales hit and miss, and Halsey quick starting but lacking the power. Jacobs was a lot better last night, much faster, so hope he kicks on now. -
Riders have 2 minutes to reach the tapes, and once all 4 are at the gate, they have 20 seconds to 'dig' and if you mess about after that, your excluded, and have to go from 15 back. That will punish the rider and team.

Doom and gloom now it seems! Can see an on form Panthers riding a lot better than recent weeks. But again, reserve pairing we are going to take a battering especially with Ellis riding. -

Ryan Fisher and Joe Jacobs for me are pushing the limits now. Fisher has been majorly disappointing in about 75% of the meetings now, lacking the pace, yes he is having personal reasons but as a club, its to no concern for us, we need a number 1 that we can rely on, he was unlucky in his last ride last night, but he didn't look quick all night anyway. Jacobs, he has been around now for 3-4 seasons, and has he progressed? He is hardly pulling trees up in the elite league either, lacks speed, and the passing ability, he makes the occasional pass, but seems to struggle for the outside passes. Question is though.... who the hell do you replace him with? -

Zagar, Troy, Kildemand, Kolodziej and Dudek should ease through IMO. -
Scunthorpe V Peterborough (plkoc 2nd Leg) 26/5/14

Kicked off? Who and When? Missed that one! Did nearly cost us the match, but IMO wouldn't of caught Williamson, 3 times Ully caught his team mate out. -
Is it an improvement
