  1. Summers is a poor choice, Coventry connection again.... Was going to attend, not now sadly, as hardly excites the fan.....
  2. Now don't get me wrong, I love the National Anthem, as I believe in our countries morals, sure sometimes its not to everyones taste, but you wont ever please everyone. BUT to have it every week, is going to be tedious, its just ruining it, as when you hear it every so often, it means more, every week is a joke TBH.
  3. It's the Ales who should ATLEAST be averaging near to his average, atm he would be dropping to reserve....
  4. I know its a challenge meeting, but Ales and Lasse really need to get going if were going to get anywhere this season, especially Ales, no fight, and his trademark quick starts.... aren't exactly special atm. Even with Jacobs and Lewis we might of reached the early 40's at a push!
  5. I tell you what IF Somerset do get rid of Wright and use the rest of there points up, they will be hard to stop. Right to chop Proctor certainly... and Yes I know, its only Plymouth but very impressive so far.
  6. Tuesday brings the challenge of the Somerset Rebels, and potential to be a belter. Rebels have Morris and Allen who go well around the EOES, Aspergan shouldn't do too bad either. Looking forward to watching Brady Kurtz aswell. I'm going to go for a 51-42 home win, think the extra few meetings we have had will really help.
  7. In a nutshell Noodles....yes. Going to be a joke of a season with certain riders missing certain meetings yet someone riding in the same meeting can ride
  8. Absolute no interest sadly in this meeting, just don't see the point in a challenge meeting during the season now, especially against a team in the same league to someone already faced in competitive action.
  9. Agreed, as a come back meeting, it was quite impressive. As a reserve, or even as a second string to start with, is certainly worth it on his average.
  10. Agreed.... could only manage a few heats, then moved somewhere else, moved to about 5 different positions in the end. It's good as you can see the lines open up before the riders, so make it interesting to watch
  11. Alright Kalle did well BUT.... He did lose against our 2 young reserves in the first heat, and only made ground on the last lap. he won his 2nd heat from making a good gate and greenwood closed in on him, and heat 8, was clear but with a lap to go, blackbird made a good 15 metres on him, so even though he scored 7 points from 3 (exc tr) he wasn't THAT good. But compared to the rest of what Plymouth had apart from Newman who was good value, he looked a contender to be a world champion.
  12. Sun's coming out, and no rain forecasted (touch wood) so bring on the Devils, and Barker.
  13. Guessing: Fisher, Blackbird, Lasse, Ulrich, Ales, Jacobs and Greenwood Barker, Benko, Newman, Jensen, Simota, Reade and Katajisto On paper they have one of the strongest reserves in Kalle BUT cant see him being a threat, infact apart from Jensen who is a talent, and Barker occasionally don't see much of a threat at all. Aslong as we don't get complacent, can see a 57-35 home win. Hopefully everyone 'roughs' Barker up, and damage his ever growing ego before the season even starts.
  14. Best seats I've ever had are Middle Tier front row on start finish line. Also gone right to the top before, and you can really sense the atmosphere from up there.
  15. Agreed.... I'd say that IF it was too happen, Wright has to be the man to go for me, as would mean pushing Kurtz down to reserve, and could be a potential trump card.
  16. Kevlars cost 6000 pounds for the whole 1-7, tailored and fitted.
  17. 1. Rene Bach 7.85 2. Steen Jensen 5.60 3. Anders Mellgren 7.33 4. Steve Boxall 5.69 5. Rohan Tungate 7.05 6. Brady Kurtz 5.00 7. Richie Hawkins 3.96 42.48
  18. Jim Lawrence was very lenient last night with a few 'iffy' decisions. Think that and naff starting from Ales really cost us. Boxall was impressive, and our reserves showed potential.
  19. Definitely makes Rye stronger without Bunyan.... But still, R/R is R/R.... end of the day, prefer to see Tres, Garrity and Boxall having another ride each personally.
  20. Brand new kit by looks of it, I was stunned!! Everyone looked good to be honest, quick and fence crawling, Ales and Ully really helping out the others. Didn't see Jacobs do any laps though.... Shame about no Kevlars this season, but to hear they cost 6k, can see why!
  21. All the riders looked good today, impressed by Blackbird and Ulrich. Hoping for a good win, reckon by 12 or so.....
  22. I live 20 miles away, and can't afford to go Tonight, Monday and Tuesday, so had to drop one. Also to be honest, these kind of things don't really do much for me, I go to watch them race around the track home and away, not to watch them on the Disco or getting asked awkward/predictable questions. It's a personnel thing and nothing against anyone who goes, good on you, but not my thing.
  23. Agreed with Maneacat.... I will be there Monday instead of tonight
