How long do you think Ellis has been on a bike ? his first meeting was in July, (which he won).
-
OK, who's in / out, who would you like to see in next years squad ?

Ellis is a lakeside asset. With lakeside being a Friday club I can't see this happening

Bearing in mind Boris Johnson wants to build an airport in the middle of the Thames estuary and Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok (honestly it's not a lap dancing thing) airport was built with land reclamation in the middle of the sea. I shouldn't think that a bit of flooding is a problem for civil engineers to overcome? -

16 years old, first competitive speedway meeting ever was in July and has now scored points in national, premier and elite leagues. Is this a record ? -

Adam Ellis To Which Pl Club ?
Jonny the spud replied to EC Rides Again's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was Adam's father who originally contacted Phil Morris to be included in the British youth championship. Each round involved a nigh on 3,000 km round trip and a ferry. He merits the attention he's getting Its down to riders as well as clubs to make things happen -
Adam Ellis To Which Pl Club ?

Well if you want to see him he's guesting for Ipswich at Somerset on Friday. Phil Morris has been a family friend for nearly 20 years and paid money out of his own pocket to have adam ride at his meeting last year. Neil Vatcher has advised adam independently and actually told him to hold back on signing for any clubs until he was sure of what he wanted. It's funny that other promoters only expressed an interest after Adams decision was made His family had already spent thousands going backwards and forwards doing second halves yet no other clubs were willing to even visit the tracks he was riding at to check him out. -

Will the updates be on here ? -
There's also been enquiries to French based Adam Ellis.

what's the weather forecast for the Island this week ?

The problem for Adam just to get to a meeting involves a 1200km drive and a cross channel ferry. He relies on help from sidecar driver Tony Cook and ex islander ride Matt Read for help with accommodation driving etc. The meetings so far that he's done have been to gain experience and get himself known on the uk scene, after last weeks meeting had returned to Bordeaux at 7am the following day and will be leaving on Sunday to come back to the uk for the weeks meetings before returning to France for an international grass track the following week. September looks quite busy too with the last round of the U16 british championship, two meetings in France , the world 250cc grasstrack final in Germany, kings of speed grasstrack in Tonbridge and he's been invited to the U19 British speedway final in Sheffield ! I know Adam and his family, he has a talent for sure, he's even organising to finish his education by correspondence to fulfill his dream of riding professionally , if he can get a package for sponsorship/support organised, you'll be seeing a hell of a lot more of him next year

looks like he'll be back next week !

Adam Ellis 16 year old reigning French 250cc grasstrack champion, been riding for 3 years and, (believe it or not) last nights meeting was only his 5th speedway meeting ever. Born in Marmande, south west France to English parents, father was passenger, French champion and twice european finalist with Jacques Leduc in 500cc sidecars Lived in France all his life, Eastbourne U16 championship, which he won was his first UK speedway ride and he's been doing some 2nd halves at somerset and two meetings for the young hammers. Looking to get some kind of agreement/sponsorship package to be able to ride in the UK full time next season.
