  1. Ellis and Masters side-by-side going into turn 3 on the last lap and we cut to a close up of Becker and totally miss the action. Just stick to a wide shot for goodness sake!
  2. Far too many, often quite disorientating for the viewer. Also filling the frame with one bike when there's action going on elsewhere is infuriating. Seems to be the same production/direction for the racing as it was on BT unfortunately.
  3. Seems like the same production as BT for the racing coverage/direction. Why zoom in and fill the frame with one bike on the first lap when they're all bunched up and making moves?
  4. Also surely the format of the play-offs is going to have to be revisited with only 6 teams?
  5. King's Lynn Twitter reporting that the plan is for the Premiership to go ahead with the 6 remaining teams and a proposed May start date.
  6. How is anyone supposed to take a local rivalry between King's Lynn and Ipswich seriously when Chris Harris switches between so-called arch rivals depending on which day of the week it is?
  7. Imagine Nigel and Kelvin commentating on that.
  8. Buster's put the same manure down at Peterborough, now we've got the same problem there as well!
  9. I was concerned about missing all the action with that low camera angle and the riders disappearing behind the tractor. Turns out I had nothing to worry about.
  10. Are BT in control of the cameras this evening? Constant switching of angles, filling the frame with one rider - makes it almost impossible to follow the race.
  11. Nasty crash for Smektala in Vastervik - was trapped under the air fence for a while there.
  12. Gorzow used to be one of the best tracks in the world - not sure what happened!
  13. I think that's definitely part of the problem at King's Lynn. I believe they switched shale suppliers around five/six years ago to a more clay-based/stock-car friendly material - which does roughly coincide with the downfall in the racing. As an example, take a look at the racing in Heat 18 and 19 of the SWC meeting in 2012: You can clearly see the number of different lines through the corners, the entry/exit options for overtaking and the slingshot off the dirt on the outside out of turns 2 and 4. Now compare that to the same meeting from last year where there were about three overtakes over the entire night (resulting from rider mistakes mostly) because the track was so one-lined - it's like night and day! Presumably the newer clay-based shale just doesn't produce the same number of lines?
  14. I don't think there's too much wrong with the shape of the track at King's Lynn - we just need some proper Speedway shale down like we used to have.
  15. It's on Freesports (Freeview 95) if you're struggling to find any links.
  16. "Follow the leader leader leader..." x15.
  17. Are you watching Buster? More excitement in half a lap than the entire meeting at King's Lynn!
  18. They really have started to nail these temporary tracks for entertainment. Imagine if every club in this country had a track similar to tonight's!
  19. Well, that was dire - get this track off the calendar.
