Yes I agree first few heats was similar nature but after that it seemed like hard graft to overtake anyone very disappointing..but still it was an ok meeting with some close racing but to many strung out heats which is not normal viewing at the EWR

I’ve said for a few seasons now that the track is nothing like it used to be...yes it’s very smooth and easy to ride but as for going into the dirt line for overtaking and getting past opponents it never hardly happens as shown today because the amount of effort that the riders put in to overtake there’s no grip whatsoever and it’s so frustrating for us spectators never mind the riders.

Surely with the size of most speedway crowds if people stayed 2 metres apart at the venues maybe everyone could still attend..I’m pretty certain with scunny’s attendances everyone could still watch speedway with plenty of space around them.

I think it was Taylor Poole at the EWR when he crash at turn 2 and his bike flew over the air fence and knocked a spectator out..luckily he only damaged his hooter and lost a tooth I maybe wrong on the damage but it was not nice to see

The core the diehards the speedway lovers will always be there regardless of Sunday showings or Thursday with a few smatterings of extra people on a Thursday don’t think it matters..if the track is any better on a Thursday do you think it’s going to entice a few hundred more people cos of the more moisture or more time on the track to prepare..hmmm I don’t think so...the sport is f...ked
