All the best to the Tigers, if they maintain the same spirit as last night then we can definitely run them close. I think we could see a different Mr Auty tonight, seemed a bit off it last night but dont let that fool you. We know Steady will be leading by example but I feel the key is with the lower order of the team. If we can have Haines, Koppe & Knighty chipping in then who knows how far we could go tonight?...

Really impressed with a great team effort last night. Great attendance. Although one has a sneaky feeling that if Mr Koppe doesnt hit his 5.00 average then a certain Mr Parsons could be waiting in the wings ? -

Really cant wait to see what Albin can do tonight, been really impressed with him so far. Koppe i feel can only get better and i know its still only early, but he does seem arkward on the big Owlerton track. Think Hainesy and young Knight could earn respectable scores tonight too. -

It wouldn't suprise me if Stead went through the card unbeaten... -
Sheffield VS the Champions, how do we predict this one will go? Auty loves riding the Owlerton boards, Birks knows the fast route around the owlerton shale & young high flying Ryan Douglas hitting big scores, could be another close contest for the Sheffield big boys.....

Sheffield were opened up like a tin of beans last night. Haines = woeful Knight = woeful Koppe = woeful Albin = looked promising Stead = as expected Hall = unlucky/ woeful Wells = ok/ woeful -
just looking through some pics of last season, how come sanchez's equipment looks crappy and dated? all the boys now are riding new frames, with decent covers and kevlars where as sanchez is riding crappy old style frames, with beaten up covers and rubbishy two piece fox race suits? no wonder he aint fixed up lol

does anyone know if there are any pics online of the P&P ?

Press & Practice on Thursday. Rider interviews, photos & presentation of racejackets at 5pm, then its on to the track for the boys to bed their new motors in and to get some quality laps under their belts. Then in to the panorama room for some light conversation and a few sherbets. see you there! Only goss i have is that Tyrer and Ritchings will be sharing the no.8 berth.

On a different note, who do we think will be paired alongside Jake Knight in the reserve berths ? I reckon for the visit of the Brummies we could well see Koppe Paired with Knight, and Albin at 2.
-
looking forward as always to see how they have styled the race jackets for this coming season.
-
Was nice to see Richard Hall give a good account of himself at Somerset, I hope this kind of form can be replicated on the away circuits when on business with Sheffield. Not long to go now and i for one am getting very excited. I've said it before but with regards to Albin, Berwicks loss is definitely our gain, think Koppe might surprise a few people too. Either way i will be on the terraces and in the panorama room supporting the boys all the way. Great to see Stead back.
-
Oppostition riders better watch out, there's a Koppe on patrol at owlerton this year ;-)
-
I reckon Facundo Albin & Damien Koppe will suprise a quite a few this season, under the leadership of Stead they can only grow. Very excited about the new season now :-) :-) :-)
-
really looking forward to seeing Steady in that Sheffield racejacket once again!
-
Watch out for the Aussie youngsters taking part in the showpiece event: Brendon Harley Callum Shores Jason Bennington Mix them with Max Fricke, Brandon Freemantle, our own Jake Knight and we could have a tasty top gun meeting on our hands. Oh and whatever happened to Leigh Boujos ? Wasnt he supposed to be the next aussie rider being the best thing since sliced bread signing for Sheffield ?
-
Fixtures released, and I for one am particularly glad to see the return of the... TOP GUN !
-
Apparently the two riders who were waiting in the wings or banging the door down were Hynek Stichauer and Taylor Poole.
-
Shame, always thought he would be the next big thing, but just didnt happen when he was over here. Hope next season Sheffield bring back the "Top Gun" individual, that meeting unearthed a few rough diamonds. Remember when Darcy rode in that.
-
Does That Aussie lad Ricky Wallace still ride?
-
I think Facundo Albin & Damian Koppe will suprose a few people to be honest.

Wells is the final peice of the jigsaw, OK new debate, who for number 8 lol Jordan Tyrer?
