  1. I must say that John was way the better rider on all sorts of tracks. I never saw Chris ride any good on a wet one
  2. Don't worry. If we follow Swedish speedway we'll be calling a result after EIGHT heats. Surprised the BSPA haven't followed suit already.
  3. Agree entirely that it's time to get rid of Sky. Just think back since they became involved, and all of a sudden there were new rules put in basically to satisfy them, all of which have been so detrimental to the sport that they have been thrown out one by one. UNTIL we have only one left, the ridiculous double points, or JOKER as it will be called in the World Cup. For Christ's sake get rid before it is too late. Speedway was good before Sky came in, and it still would be without them.
  4. And there was me trying to work out which teams they rode for
  5. When you get the likes of Adams and Van Straaten getting the rules changed to suit them, you are never going to get a settled team due to doubling up/down, and manipulating the averages. They did it to Peterborough over Sundstrom a few years ago, and now they have new rules which completely favour the top (elite) league by taking first choice of anybody who is available, or not as the case may be.
  6. If I remember correctly, when the planning officer came to West Row to check the noise of the bikes before agreeing to allow speedway, one of the big planes came over. It completely drowned the noise of the bikes. So there was little point in not issuing a licence to Mildenhall as the plane made much more noise.
  7. That's what he's always been like.Until he comes down from his ego trip some people won't help him. Will never tell the truth, and thinks fans shouldn't need to know. If I'm putting money in, then I want to know where it will go, and not just a general idea.
  8. First time I have really wanted Nicki to win except when he rode for us. Awful decision by Gardell. He wouldn't have excluded KK if it had been the other way round, you can bet on it
  9. I did not say I like crashes, read it again. Why after all these years have they started thinking this way. It's PCC again.
  10. And what's all this c**p from Tatum that they won't show a rerun of a crash until they know riders are Ok.Nobody likes to see injuries, but it happens, but why TV producers worry that people are going to get upset is ridiculous. If you don't like crashes, don't watch! I am not a ghoul and have seen riders get more than seriously injured, which is terrible, but unfortunately it's part of the sport. Get a grip
  11. Peterborough without a doubt, but it looks like Sunday might be the last ever meeting at the Showground. Great pity if it is
  12. We've never had the full facts for years, if ever
  13. I'm glad somebody else knows that the season has six weeks to go. Just tell the BSPA, oh! and Sky
  14. Do they still blackflag. I saw Jim Lawrence exclude a sidecar outfit at the end of one race for crossing the inner edge on the first lap.
  15. You are joking, aren't you. Can imagine the scenario. Team manager "We'll bring Joe Bloggs out as a TR in the next heat. No, lets save him for the week after next!!" I think you should put in for Harkess' job. With a suggestion like this the BSPA will welcome you with open arms.
  16. Becoming a farce, they are a farce.and have been especially this season I thought that being out of the ELITE?? league now we would be better off, but no chance. After years of being shafted by the likes of Wolverhampton, they now have Lasse Bjerre tonight instead of us. Looking at the so-called rules on here Wolves might be within their rights, just,(although I'm not sure), but what a joke when things like this happen, just hope he scores nothing tonight.
  17. Can't stand either Craig Saul or David Rowe. They both gabble at twenty words to the dozen. Just like playing an old record at double speed.
  18. What I expected from the worst Panthers side in twenty-five years
  19. Just seen a quite brilliant meeting at the EoES. Shame it wasn't advertised more so a bigger crowd would have turned up. Showed up the solos I thought, and nineteen heats over in five minutes over two hours. Think on that Panthers! Let's have more, AND more advertising
  20. How many times has Pearson mentioned the word Joker in heat fifteen. Just sums up the sport. Why don't they call the ride something like a 'Golden substitute' for heavens sake. JOKER makes me cringe
  21. So when will the BSPA or Peterborough come out into the open with the reasons. Until they do then they are to ridicule as normal
  22. I am not sure but I believe that the bloke who does Panthers website also does the BSPA one, they often look alike. Also I think they, the BSPA, vet any releases.Anybody know for sure.
