Agree entirely that it's time to get rid of Sky. Just think back since they became involved, and all of a sudden there were new rules put in basically to satisfy them, all of which have been so detrimental to the sport that they have been thrown out one by one. UNTIL we have only one left, the ridiculous double points, or JOKER as it will be called in the World Cup. For Christ's sake get rid before it is too late. Speedway was good before Sky came in, and it still would be without them.

When you get the likes of Adams and Van Straaten getting the rules changed to suit them, you are never going to get a settled team due to doubling up/down, and manipulating the averages. They did it to Peterborough over Sundstrom a few years ago, and now they have new rules which completely favour the top (elite) league by taking first choice of anybody who is available, or not as the case may be.

If I remember correctly, when the planning officer came to West Row to check the noise of the bikes before agreeing to allow speedway, one of the big planes came over. It completely drowned the noise of the bikes. So there was little point in not issuing a licence to Mildenhall as the plane made much more noise.

I am not sure but I believe that the bloke who does Panthers website also does the BSPA one, they often look alike. Also I think they, the BSPA, vet any releases.Anybody know for sure.
