  1. an interesting read is that, I for one hope we don't sign nick as it would make us too top heavy and leave us weak in the middle.
  2. pepe would be a good shout for 3rd heat leader I reckon, but what average would he come in on?
  3. I really think bjerre and north could be bound for Peterborough if they run in the PL, so would need to be quick for either of those two, as for tully and lanham, they both struggle round owlerton, neither of those 2 would thrill me. I think the next 2 signings will give us all a clue as to the final 3 places.
  4. does the 2.5% reduction still apply to british riders anyone? with steady been given input into the teambuilding plans could the prospective buyer be his dad trevor? interesting thought.
  5. I would take that side friddy, that looks good round owlerton. scunny are going to have to release one of Birks/Jorgensen/Klindt, wouldn't mind either of the first 2.
  6. 2 newcomers I would not mind us signing is Ty Proctor and Dakota North, would prefer to see facu/andre or facu/greenwood as the reserve pairing, Nikolai Klindt is one name that's not been mentioned yet and could be available.
  7. interesting to see that Richard Lawson is away from Workington for next season, maybe a tigers target?
  8. I like my dad but he wont be riding for us again.
  9. I agree with the 3 your keeping odsal boy, Rambo - been there and a steady 3.50 rider. Roynon - COULD be a revelation, but too injury prone, also depends on his parent club. Ben Wilson - think we can forget ben hes been out too long. Skiddy - don't think there would be much improvement in his average, may get used if the averages fit. Andre - though it pains me to say it, only use him if we can fit him in at reserve, would do a good job there. lets just hope we will have a team to follow in whatever league.
  10. maybe neil does not want to add to his asset base because he is selling his share this winter, or why would he not sign someone as soon as your number 1 gets injured, just food for thought.
  11. olly greenwood put some effort in and didn't disgrace himself, hope Mitchell Davey is going to be ok, in 41 years of watching the sport that was one of the worst crashes i have seen, horrible, from the 3rd/4th bend it appeared there was no connection with greenwood, he seemed to straighten up and head straight towards the fence.
  12. facu looked good on some decent equipment and the way he moved screeny over in heat 1 showed he has talent, and repeated it later on jimmy grieves, lets hope he has turned the corner.
  13. my dads available and would return.....at a price.
  14. just heard the news, hope ricky is ok and that it is not as bad as it seems.
  15. the 7 day ruling would rule ricky out for this meeting Charlie boy. on tigers website that he has been booked in for next Thursday though.
  16. looking at that press release it appears Glasgow are not at fault, all they have done is announce their changes and kept the fans in the loop as to why the changes occurred, they gave the reason andre left them as to save face with the fans, maybe a little communication between the respective promoters could have saved a few red faces at our end.
  17. sad to see Richard go if that's the end of a long association between him and neil, he has a lot of critics on here but at the end of the day he is pure entertainment around owlerton and that is what we go for...to be entertained, good luck in your next position Richard. p.s. I am also a big fan of andre would have loved to have seen them in the side together.
  18. I believe neil will come to our rescue with a good replacement for steady, there are not too many ready made replacements out there for a PL number one. Charlie gjedde springs to mind, cannot think of anymore, unless lewis bridger fancies a go at doubling up. doubling upj wwmjju
  19. one possible replacement for steady I would like to see would be adam skornicki doubling up with us, a good racer and entertainer.
  20. we all seem to be with it being adam roynon on this one, as the promotion say it is a well known rider, so that rules out any unknown Scandinavian rider ,maybe just maybe it could be taylor poole.
  21. would like to wish andre all the best, one of my all time favourites, but don't expect too much from him as I think he will find it hard riding in the team ,would have been better if he could have started at reserve.
  22. if averaging about a point and half is doing well then im sorry i think im watching the wrong sport, how many teams persist with a rider producing this average,at first opportunity the changes have to be made for the credibility and future of the sport in the city, sorry damien and jake you have both had a fair run.
  23. would really like one of the 2 last spots to got to either adam skornicki or mark lemon to add solid back up to steady although these would only be short term and not seen as building for the future.
