Jack Holder out injured so thanks to Ipswich for loaning us another guest as Danny King steps in. Not sure if Drew Kemp will be needed to step in for Josh Bates. Josh Pickering to make his debut so should be a decent meeting Good weather forecast tomorrow too. We need to extend our home run and get 3 points

Probably a good call from Peterborough management with this great summer we are having. By the time we race the rearranged fixture I’m hoping we’ve had a least 1 more team change. Bomber dropping to reserve doesn’t really change how strong they are. Our away form needs to pick up if we are to catch Ipswich. At least 3 of the 4 meetings in hand are at home. It’s in our hands

Thanks for the confirmation Neil I thought I was right The guesting rule seems to confuse some people but it’s understandable when it doesn’t suit your team. I wouldn’t want us to be accused of cheating. Sedgeman is on the market now for any teams with injured riders looking for replacements

Exactly but at the end of the day we needed a guest and took him from the list We could have had someone else and had same result Who knows ? It’s a chance you take and it’s the same for every team needing a guest.

So what your saying is Masters average is 2 points more than Jason crump and it’s ok for Ipswich to have a guest with an higher average ? Yet only last week the Ipswich fans were in uproar when we had guests for Josh Bates. Something doesn’t seem right there does it ? No wonder fans arnt bothering to turn up nowadays then.

Speedway has been like it for years back to Reg Fearman Ian Thomas Len Silver etc etc It won’t change. I don’t know any other sport with rules as flexible. Until they have an external governing body it will stay the same. So like I say if you just want to watch speedway for a night out socially and accept the rules great. If you want to take it serious and come on here to moan nothing will change. If your waiting for integrity in speedway you will be waiting a long time

If you want to win anything you should always strive for better that’s what I do with my business and it works for me. Ipswich made changes whether that’s for the better remains to be seen. If you can’t be bothered to attend then don’t let yourself get wound up mate. Chill out. I don’t give a toss about the rules because there too flexible so makes no odds to me who guests etc.

Would Dan Thompson be a 1 star meaning if frees up a bit of leeway for changes in the team ??

Technically if he rides for Plymouth then Ipswich shouldn’t be allowed a guest as he’d be withholding his services

That’s strange you’ve mentioned that because last week when I went to Peterborough the same Tom Brennan scored 4+2 and we got hammered but nobody battered an eye lid as to who replaced Bates yet as soon as we get points from our guests everyone starts bitching. Ipswich are using guests for Crump some will score more than he would some will score less. He’s not the Crump he was scoring heavily every meeting as we can see by his scores

Bates scored 2 on his last visit and this time Ellis and Holder scored 5 less between them So Brennan scored 2 more than Bates That was the last meeting this one is a new one. Somewhere you will get a guest who will get you a win or a point so I suppose that will be different from your perspective

That would be my choice. I didn’t want him in the first place. He’s a liability and a danger to himself as well as others. He’s been over trying and it’s not worked for him. He will do some serious damage if he’s not careful

Possibly so Scott Nichols got 10 for kings Lynn and worrall got 5+1 for Ipswich tonight. So if Nichols don’t get 10 kings Lynn get a bigger pasting and Worralls point help Ipswich get the win it’s what happens in speedway. You either get a good guest or a bad one it’s the nature of the beast. So are you not expecting wolves to need a guest before the end of the season ? Not really they earned the point by recovering well against a good wolves team. We made a good choice of guest that made a difference but that’s speedway isn’t it we don’t usually have a good record with guests It’s same for every team horses for corses. With Ipswich winning we drop a place so I wouldn’t say we were lucky
