Definately mr showman and when he was on it he was superb to watch. I think it was a bonus point run off with Jimmy Nilsen ,who was a hard rider and Roman reeled him in and got between Nilsen and the fence when there was hardly any room.This took Nilsen by surprise and everybody in the stadium .Absolutely amazing. R I P Roman.

Championship stats show Josh Auty no 1 atScunthorpe and Todd Kurtz 2 points on average worse than Josh and only a second string .So not much to compare.The stats say Josh is the better rider but on track Todd is a better gater and riding at reserve would be expected to get points round owlerton and occasionally away.Josh is spectacular round Sheffield but he would only be on par with Todd away.We can only speculate as other teams are not complete.If Douglas and Allen start at reserve then they will average a lot more than Todd.If you want to compare riders it should be Todd and Jordan Stewart who is quite good round Sheffield.

Yes he did but I think that's a better call to have Lawson at 2. Kyle needs to up his game because his last 2 seasons have been less effective than previously but that's probably been down to injuries.

Thought it would be. At least it leaves us with a little bit to play with if any rider doesn’t come up to expectation.

Musielak would be a top signing but don't think it will be him,more likely Lawson or Allen .If we could get Allen then we could attract Scunthorpe fans.

Welcome ash Morris not sure about this signing,did ok last season before injury and rode well against us at Brum last season.I think it depends on other teams 6 and 7. Good luck to the lad anyway.By my reckoning we've got about just over 6 points left.I would like Jake Allen but more likely Richard Lawson .

If the averages fit Dimi would be first choice reserve round owlerton. When he rode with Steady he was well in front so he would be a no brainer ,where as away from home him and Todd may be weak,so we either go for top heavy at home and risk the away score or find a rider who can ride any track.Not sure what points we've got left but Lawson and Dimi would make us very strong at home or possibly Bellego and Dimi ?

I think the track will suit Broc but like I said hope we not going to get a rider to make up the 7 after our promotion have worked hard to get a good top end. Reserves win meetings as was proven last season.

I find it strange that we've let Broc go to wolves ,hopefully we get someone who will be a better reserve than him or it doesn't make sense to let him go !!!!! Expecting Todd to be one reserve but his away form is very questionable so we are going to need somebody better than him to be his partner.Hope we not going for a greaves or Sargent type rider.

Who will have the stronger bottom end ? Both teams shaping up nicely.

Welcome Jack Holder ,this team is really shaping up.Plenty of potential so far and looking exciting.

Todd Kurtz or another Aussie heat leader

Todd is one of Peter Moles riders,he's a Sheffield asset and due a testimonial next year so expect him to be in the team.One of the early fixtures next season is planned for his meeting.

Hopefully he will get the increase in the first month by winning plenty of races for us

I asked Perer Mole last night he said 8.61 his old average. They asked for a reduction but it was refused

3 great signings to start the team build.Not sure what averages Kyle and Josh come in on but Nicki is 8.61 after we were refused a re assessed average for him.Everybody at the meeting last night was buzzing and can't wait for next season.Damon said he's hoping to get BelleVue for the opener and I think he said a testimonial for Todd Kurtz so I'm presuming he will be announced soon.Hoping to announce rest of team in next 2 weeks and announcing prices for entry and sponsorship.I hope that Ian hunter will not just be disgarded and hope he can be involved in some way with an associate sponsorship as he has been a main player in Sheffield speedway for some time now.Damon also mentioned he doesn't want big gaps between fixtures probably 2 weeks maximum .

Exciting signing for sure just hope he can maintain a high points return every week.Always loved him as the villain just like Mauger and Olsen ,top drawer rider most people hate because they are top of their sport and set the benchmark for others.Looking forward to seeing him regular ,roll on next season.Hopefully we can back him with some quality,Josh g ,Charles Wright Brady Kurtz Ryan Douglas,Jake Allen possibilities??????? I would think if they could afford to pay Iverssen and Harris they can afford Jake Allen ! We are expecting some announcements this week at Sheffield so we will see what happens.If Ipswich were really keen onJake I would have thought they would have had him signed pre AGM,like Scunthorpe did with a couple of their riders.

As we all know it's a numbers game so depending who else Ipswich sign his average might not fit!! Whenever he's guested for us at sheffield on numerous occasions he's always got on well with steady and the lads so he knows how professional Sheffield are.Id love him at Sheffield but if he goes to Ipswich so be it as long as we can get Josh G,Charles Wright and a couple of top heat leaders along with Nicol as one of the reserves.Exciting times at Sheffield next season.

Have we sold Broc to Glasgow or loaned him ? I'd like to see him at no.7 in our premier league team

2 ND to Doyle !! I'd be more than happy if that's the case and would gladly eat my words.What average would he come in on ? If he matches Doyle's performances he'll do for me but depending how much he may cost I'd rather have a balanced team 1-7. Let's wait and see .
