Great post, have always found Ben to be a 100% racer and polite and friendly even when riding for the away team, and wonder why he's not one of the first signings, but then you hear some stories which never seems to match his character. Always seems really popular at every club he's ridden for but then nobody wants him! Strange.

Morris is a good, solid signing and consistent at nearly all tracks. I'm not sure he's exciting enough to put extra bums on seats so Brum will need deep pockets again this season I feel

Continuity is great if your teams doing well, not so great if the riders helped the team to the bottom of the league...

I think we need to give these promoters more credit. Within hours of the points total being announced riders find themselves having a job having negotiated deals and held talks with different clubs in different countries, working out logistics etc, and promotors solve and finalise the teams so quickly! So impressive! Almost like they already know....

Whatever the outcome, I'm sure it will be underwhelming and we'll be Moaning about the same things next season

Nigel Tolley at Birmingham doesn't seem to have any problems with throwing away his own money and running at a big loss.... Maybe it's a criteria of the BSPL nowadays...
