  1. Belle Vue were dominant when UK Speedway was strong and the best league in the World. The mighty Aces were the big dogs in a large pack, whilst Poole are just the biggest fish in a small and shrinking pond. No comparison IMO...
  2. I would imagine Tai, Bomber and Scotty are nailed on, with Cookie or Lambert completing the team. Craig will have home track advantage, but there is a possibility that Robert will kick on this year and be hard to ignore. I cant see beyond these five...
  3. 1. Glasgow 2. Somerset 3. Peterborough 4. Workington 5. Plymouth 6. Ipswich

  7. The ELRC has become a pointless meeting, would anyone miss it these days ? It used to be one of the biggest meetings of the domestic season with the atmosphere of a mini World Final, but not anymore...
  8. Tungate for North weakens the Robins on paper, however Rohan is capable of further improvement. IF his head is right, he is well capable of scoring solid points home and away. Still a rock solid play off team IMO..
  9. Everyone knows that Barker went to Glasgow for the $$$$$$, the guy is a pillock if he thinks we don't know that... Such is life, why lie about it.

  12. 1- Swindon 2- Poole 3- Belle Vue 4- Wolves 5- Coventry 6- Lakeside 7- Kings Lynn 8- Leicester
  13. Hit the nail on the head there. I presumed the team was built with no double uppers, and with around 2pts to spare it is now logical and sensible to replace Simon in the circumstances imo...
  14. Well if he gets up at 10am, has breakfast, and likes to be at the track by 5pm, i presume the game of golf is on his Wii
  15. Very true, and youngsters never had large monthly phone contract payments in those days. Speedway cannot compete against owning the new iphone these days unfortunately...
  16. Troy needs to cut out the carbs before the season starts..
  17. Absolutely correct, and applies to nearly all team sports...
  18. What's wrong with New Zealand ? It's generally a very safe place, with a relatively low crime rate, few endemic diseases and a great healthcare system. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/australiaandpacific/newzealand/11284442/26-reasons-why-New-Zealand-is-the-worlds-best-country.html
