  1. Not surprised if that is true. A good friend of mine sponsored Louis jnr one year for a considerable sum, and never got any thanks at all. A year later he got a call asking if he wanted to continue, and you can guess the answer. He and his family were lost to Ipswich speedway forever i'm afraid, and that's a shame. Fortunately, most speedway riders don't act like prima donnas though...
  2. R.WORRALL 8.64 R.LAWSON 8.28 R.TUNGATE 7.05 C.HEEPS 6.74 A.ELLIS 4.25 R.HAWKINS 3.96 S.WORRALL 3.00 41.92 WOULD EXPECT ALL THESE 7 TO INCREASE THEIR AVERAGE IN 2014..
  3. Good idea, but you would possibly have too many accidents with the lesser lights over riding to stay in front...
  4. Four heats with no heat leaders in the 'Elite' lge with the new race format. I presume the Prem lge wont be adopting this new format ? Can anyone confirm this pls...
  5. I agree with that Ray, and Boro have enough assets to track a very solid team in the premier lge..
  6. Absolutely agree, i'm not sure I would even go if that happened. Cant happen, surely not...
  7. I would like to see both Worrall's in the 2014 team if possible. A solid number one is vital in the Prem lge imo, and its always good to freshen up the side with new faces for supporters...
  8. Must agree, and surely these lads must have some say in where they ride, otherwise all the good intentions may do more harm than good..
  9. That's two of us WK, it looks like the stronger product to me...
  10. Rohan might struggle to get an Elite team next year, it seems unlikely he will be at Poole again. Cam on the other hand may be on someone's radar, as he is an improver on a decent average...
  11. Bit harsh on Dak, last year was his first in the Elite full time, increasing his average by nearly a point..
  12. Wont happen, never has and never will. Any money will go to the 'top boys' as it always does and always will. That's why the league is in a mess and will only get worse...

  14. That would mean a quarter of elite matches will in effect be national lge matches. How pathetic is that...
  15. I'm beginning to think the sport would be better off with KKS at the helm. I'm gutted mate...
  16. At some tracks I wont mention, it would be best to have 60 one lap races, cos bugger all happens after that...
  17. I AM...if it was deemed viable by the promotion, and they could assemble a decent team...
  18. That's because he cant, there is no credible evidence to support his argument, hence all you will get is blue tinted waffle...
  19. I guarantee things wont get any worse with the new manager whoever he is. Middlo's selections in 2013 were shocking at best..
  20. Chris Louis should be considered imo, and im sure his father, a 4 time world team cup winner himself, could be a wise head to consult if need be...
  21. Someone is to blame for the garbage meetings they show, and their obsession with small trick tracks that provide little entertainment. Have asked many times who picks the Live Meetings, I have my suspicions, but no one has ever confirmed who it is. If TV exposure is to promote the sport, they must show meetings at the best racing circuits from BOTH leagues, as the Prem lge has some cracking tracks...
  22. I will not lose any sleep without a new Sky deal. Their involvement in the sport has done nothing to enhance the domestic leagues, their choice of meetings is abysmal, and it would appear all the money has been used to line the pockets of the top riders instead of investing in new young talent. Hardly a raging success...
