What, like the Comics and Cook's non-speedway related absence?🫠-

Matt Ford said at P&P that Poole would never rule out Premiership racing in the future, BUT 2 things would need to be in place - 1) a decent TV contract, and 2) being allowed to race home meetings on Wednesdays. Also assuming a sensible points limit he would love to track a Pirates team containing both Holders and both Cook brothers😇 -

Well that's the first meeting I've seen, for a while -live or streamed - where I've agreed with every referee decision. Well done Pirates, let's hope no further injuries for Friday. -

I wonder if we'll get round 2 of the Ritchings/Newman 'love in' this evening?😂 -
If you rent a stadium, as Poole do, then the costs of putting on any event on any day of the week are the same as for a Pirates meeting on a Wednesday. Poole don't get any income from the stadium. No parking fees, no food and Beverage revenue. Their only revenue comes from admissions, programme ads and sales, sponsorship and banner ads, so they have to be reasonably confident of the meeting being popular enough to get a decent crowd even with a reduced entry fee because its NDL-level. The Pairs on a Saturday in August can be planned well in advance to ensure most of the stadium staff (stewards, bar staff etc)are available and not committed to working at/attending AFC Bournemouth as several do,

I though you kept up with all the Polish league stuff? Fraser travelled over to Krakow with Richard Lawson for track practice on Saturday and a chance of making the team on Sunday. Michael West had better race times on Saturday so secured the final team spot (scoring 2x 3rd places) Krakow drew 45-45 so maybe could have won if Fraser had been included?! We shall never know........... -

Not sure how injuring your eye while working on your speedway bikes is not a speedway-related injury!! As for Oxford being allowed a heat leader guest for a non-speedway related illness?! -

OMG it's already kicking off!! -
...says the Plymouth stalker on the Poole thread.🤣🤣

Wow that's a surprise, the time you spend on the Poole pages!!!!? Hope you enjoyed the first 2 meetings of the season. Poole always do their best to increase attendances when visiting away tracks for the benefit of the home club.😆

About what? 'From the horses mouth' mean anything to you? Get back to your Guiness and bask in the glory of your lots' weekend.

Calm down people, we are not yet in the middle of May and only had one Championship meeting whilst progressing nicely in the KO Cup and BSN series. I get why Glasgow might be looking at changes having been knocked out of 2 competitions already, but lets not get too paranoid. With last Friday's postponement at Redcar meaning Cooper won't get a 'proper average' til 7 days after the rearranged Redcar fixture on Friday15th, and with Poole involved in KO Cup meetings in between, it looks like the Poole v Glasgow meeting on 27th will be even more interesting!! (Incidentally, re. Beau Bailey, his 2026 plans are set and he does not intend to do UK racing this year. However I have it on good authority that if he (his family) change their minds then Poole have first dibs, depending on the team situation at the time).

I don't know. Having Newman and Bowes,at reserve could be a masterstroke.

Good to see Fraser Bowes joining Krakow this weekend with Rich Lawson.

Apologies. Senior moment from my sick bed!

Deleted.

Saw it live last night.

If as has been suggested Rushen 'turned left' on the straight then the 2 other riders would have crashed on his inside rather than behind onthe outside, with one hitting the fence?
