  1. I think Jenkins was a possibility at one stage when he finished covering for Battye until Berwick decided to keep him and drop Fredericksen!! Looking at our August fixtures I reckon Jenkins might be a good choice of guest on 12th v Scunny.
  2. Yes but we are talking about the Chairman of BSPL who will have the 'best interests of speedway' in mind!
  3. He was en route to Ippo (I think it was the day after he missed the Denmark meeting) but the gastroenteritis kicked in again and he was told to go home. He got a 7 day ban for a non-speedway injury.
  4. There are such things as planned intervals and breaks between races so that one can check on all the haters. Incidentally the absence of Lawson did not seem to affect the attendance. In fact it was an excellent crowd. Let's hope Jason Edwards does well on Saturday
  5. I gather Lawson had eggs and Danish bacon for breakfast, followed by a Danish pastry washed down with his coffee.🤣
  6. If Lightcaps 2 points from 4 rides for Zielona Gora today is anything to go by I would rather not. BTW Cairns scored 10 in the same meeting.
  7. Why is Saturday relevant? Lawson has 2 more meetings before then - Ippo and Poole at Oxford.
  8. Dear Misunderstood, not sure why you're so upset? As a Berwick fan you ran Poole very close when Lawson was missing with illness (he also missed Ipswich and got a 7 day ban) and Berwick ran with a guest before knocking Poole out of the Cup. Have faith........😇
  9. Where is the 'fact' in that comment? Did you find it at the bottom of your beer glass? Tut tut....
  10. No return for Riss according to the British Speedway weekly round up. Kennett looking forward to seeing out his season at Oxford.
  11. You've only got to see Fraser Bowes socials to see the damage to his spine. He's already back in Oz in recovery for the next 3-6 months!
  12. I didn't say the 'majority' I said many. Season ticket holders, sponsors, those that bought online, they all still have to queue.
  13. Many have already paid. Personally looking forward to seeing Masters and Kennett, along with hearing whether Cook will be missing Friday or Saturday?
  14. The 2026 Danish league fixtures were published in December 2025. At that stage nobody knew for certain that there would be a Premiership nor the likely number of fixtures so several riders of the required standard looked elsewhere for more fixtures/money. ( eg Zach Cook wasn't due to do CL this season)
  15. The Danes run a squad system. It's usual for a foreign rider to contract to complete a minimum number of meetings per season. Lawson missed his last one in June due to gastroenteritis and with Denmark having their season break during July, this week(29th) sees their resumption and his first (best?) opportunity to catch up!
  16. Poole Stadium is hosting a Military Tattoo in September. That must be the first non-speedway event at the stadium since the greyhounds ended.
  17. As a matter of passing interest were Klindt's 6 wins all 'from the gate' or was there any passing involved? He scored 18 points for Redcar at Poole back in May!
  18. Yet another reason why Pirates won't do Premiership Thursdays!!
  19. Glad to see the Pirates are still attracting tourists. I tried to get Pirate Lee to give you a shout out but he had so many birthday, anniversary greetings to give out, he couldn't fit them all in.
  20. Not forgetting that a clubs' net revenue will depend on if they own or rent their stadium/track. NB. Glad you enjoyed the visit if not the result.😇
