OK I'll take the plunge as nobody from Devon way seems interested in starting the thread. Plymouth have their usual seven, but with Nicholls now at 1 and King at 5. Poole have Kyle Newman as Captain and use Luke Harrison as a 75% replacement for Zach Cook, with Dayle Wood stepping in for Fraser Bowes. Should be another close one with Plymouth having the slight edge as they will want to stop their recent losing streak. Thoughts? Lewy? Anyone?

To come in to cover as a heat leader for oxford after being away for so long was asking a bit much so no surprise his average dropped to 5 so quickly. Eddie is a decent 2nd string/ reserve as he his proving.

I think Jenkins was a possibility at one stage when he finished covering for Battye until Berwick decided to keep him and drop Fredericksen!! Looking at our August fixtures I reckon Jenkins might be a good choice of guest on 12th v Scunny.

He was en route to Ippo (I think it was the day after he missed the Denmark meeting) but the gastroenteritis kicked in again and he was told to go home. He got a 7 day ban for a non-speedway injury.

There are such things as planned intervals and breaks between races so that one can check on all the haters. Incidentally the absence of Lawson did not seem to affect the attendance. In fact it was an excellent crowd. Let's hope Jason Edwards does well on Saturday

Why is Saturday relevant? Lawson has 2 more meetings before then - Ippo and Poole at Oxford.

Dear Misunderstood, not sure why you're so upset? As a Berwick fan you ran Poole very close when Lawson was missing with illness (he also missed Ipswich and got a 7 day ban) and Berwick ran with a guest before knocking Poole out of the Cup. Have faith........😇

You've only got to see Fraser Bowes socials to see the damage to his spine. He's already back in Oz in recovery for the next 3-6 months!
