Panthers v Leicester - Bank Holiday Monday
SteveLyric2 replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Harris rode as a guest for Becker not Nicholls. The Wolves website explains. -
I will say what I said on this thread - that I hope all the testing goes well.
-
That's a Challenge match not an official fixture. In any case its reasonable to assume that being in the South/South West on Friday the testers may well be working their way northwards, rather than zigzagging across the UK.

Glasgow v Edinburgh , Easter Sunday

I think he found him on Sunday!!! -
It's a matter of fact that random testing takes place every season. That's why I mentioned Poole on Friday. Plymouth may have been selected this evening before it was called off - who knows? Oxford is the next scheduled meeting!! Jeez.
-
I don't think it's funny at all. As I said, there were random tests at Poole on Friday. Bearing in mind last season it's not beyond the realms of possibility that there will be testing done on Wednesday. I've already said it should be a well matched meeting with both teams built in similar ways.

He's in the Oxford line-up tomorrow!!

Whatever the rights or wrongs, speedway has made the National Tabloid Sports pages every day since Friday. -
What? what have I put that is incorrect? They were at Poole on Friday.

Its the declared GSAs list that counts!!!

Wolves v Aces Cup 2nd leg 10/4
SteveLyric2 replied to noaksey's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
BSPA redeclared GSAs as of yesterday (Issue 4) shows Becker back in the 1-7. -
The official green sheet declarations Issue 4 (10.4.23) does not have Summers listed. It is as I stated earlier.
-
The only change in the Premiership Rider declarations as of yesterday is Wolves reverting back to include Becker. All other 1-7s are the same.
-
Random checks and tests! They can happen at any track at any time.
-
So 2 teams built in similar ways, each with 3 strong heat leaders assuming Nicholls recovers from his 'knock' in Poland?! Hope all the spot checks and any tests go well. Should be a good close meeting.

Nothing wrong with a bit of "drama", rather then the continual 'family sport' message that has clearly worked so well over many years!!! -
Plymouth vs Poole BSN series 11/04/23
SteveLyric2 replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe the Plymouth website will give an early decision? Mind you they haven't even given a meeting preview yet!! -
Surprisingly, it could be argued that it was partially because of Scotty that it became a lost cause!!?
-
The stadium's new website makes for interesting viewing. www.poolestadium.co.uk I guess the 'new' events would be at weekends so as not to disturb the school next door during the day. Just hope they don't damage the track!! Nb. I note 'The Chunkfest' event on Sat June 24 is aimed at wheelchair sports participants amongst others?! Poole Stadium is renowned for its wheelchair-friendly facilities!!!!

Yes I corrected it! I nearly put twenty to eight!!!! It's been a long day..........

Poole v Oxford - Good Friday

There was even huge applause when Killeen came down but managed to get off the track to avoid a stoppage. -
...but nobody wanted to spanner for him.
-
That's almost ten to nine!! A bit late to start a meeting.
