  1. I'm sure the Facenas learned a lot of how to do things effectively from their visit to Matt in Poole when they first took over!
  2. I'll have some of what you're drinking!!
  3. Maybe they could update their website regularly too.
  4. I guess it depends on what people understand as 'a guarantee'? If its a guaranteed payment for simply turning up an d riding, then that should rightly be outlawed. If its signing on fees, accommodation, vans, travel, mechanics on top of points money then thats simply part and parcel of how speedway operates at any level - and where sponsorship plays a big part. But I have to agree with Steve S - Greg Hancock was the last Poole rider to get a 'guarantee'!! NB, Rider announcement imminent I gather..............
  5. Plymouth will probably need a couple of 2 pointers judging by their top end averages, 24.13 for the 3 heat leaders!!
  6. The BSPL statement said 'a limit on guarantees' not that there would not be any at all!
  7. Leicester asked CVS to release Nick Morris for some Lions continuity when Schlein indicated his preference to return to Wolves
  8. I thought he said at the start of the season that Nathan was 'a long term project'! Bearing in mind Pooles history of making mid season changes, maybe 'long term' meant for the whole season? Sorry to keep on about Poole on the Plymouth thread but Lewy brought it up!
  9. What, like the Cook brothers?? (PS Is Mark Lemon still a Poole asset?)
  10. I haven't seen the £90 per point mentioned officially anywhere. The AGM stated 'a limit on guarantees' rather than a curb on actual race points money. £90 per point is certainly under what many heat leaders were on - as well as some 2nd strings!!
  11. Riding on Polish tracks is considerably different to riding British tracks - as various clubs have found out in the past even with Polish riders! Admittedly all the signs seem positive about his racing capabilities and winning the U21 last weekend certainly brought his name to the fore for a number of British clubs!
  12. Scott's not doing Premiership in 2023. Hans has not been named anywhere yet!
  13. So Barker, Worrall, Gilkes and Howarth so far then?!
  14. Pearson has an actual average of 4 from last season at Birmingham. Rew having not ridden domestically would have the assessed average of 5 I believe
  15. I would think at least one of the team options will have Zach still at 6. Other options may have Zach as a second string!
  16. If Ben Cook becomes the 3rd heat leader on 6.09 then there's a bit more scope to go with a stronger final 4 (or 3 assuming Zach is there too!)
  17. I think the majority of Poole fans would agree but if the 2023 team is being built differently - bearing in mind the new 40 point limit - then changes are inevitable.
