Some other clubs have indicated the points limit to be 42 for the full 1-7, with '2021 rising stars' having their true average (less the 2.5% British discount) I would guess (and it really is a guess) that the 2 riders who have 'agreed terms for 2022' are the Cook brothers! This may or may not be confirmed later today................

Probably because it was all agreed at the pre-AGM 'Zoom' meeting to allow clubs to begin to formulate their teams (without Rising Stars?!) but will not be confirmed or 'rubber-stamped' and announced until the one-day AGM later.

The Kent situation seems pretty clear from the latest statement - the stadium 'sale' documentation between ARC and Cearns should have included that speedway would continue under the new stadium ownership! This appears not to have been the case and ARC are now spreading the rumour that the local Council 'do not want speedway there' -despite no complaints or evidence of contravening any planning consent. Hence no speedway in 2022, but......................??

It clearly made a big difference to be happy where he was racing - under Brit team managers etc etc.

I only said 'no rider announcements in the immediate future'! That doesn't mean that negotiations and signings are not taking place - just not being announced as if you think about it any rider announcements might influence the legal/rental negotiations which incidentally have already been going on for a month or more!! Poole have already stated last week that terms have been agreed with 2 riders. Along with the riders 'released' by Leicester/Eastbourne/Kent there are still plenty of options.

Not sure there will be any team announcements in the immediate future, while the stadium rent issue goes down the legal route. May find out something later this week but not sure if I'll be able to share. One thing I do know is that the planned 2022 1-7 has changed already - with the unexpected availability of a rider.

Poole's prices haven't increased for 4 seasons. Its just crazy to increase admission prices just to overpay riders. - ask Eastbourne!!
