Great idea. Maybe start a seperate thread rather than have it 'hidden away' on a less well-read Poole thread!!?? -

Why wouldn't committed fans go to absolutely every home match? Surely committed fans arrange their holidays outside of the season's fixtures or if there is a gap in fixtures mid-season? The Southern away meeting discount is a good new incentive alongside the existing10% discount off club merchandise and the invite to the club P&P day at Poole. I've sorted my 3 passes and booked my holidays in early March and end-October!! -

Nice to see you keeping up with the latest info - despite slagging off Championship racing!!! Pricing is in line with most other SGBC teams, considering at least 3 of the team also have Premiership places!! You should get a season pass - it works out at only £15 per adult per meeting - quite realistic wouldn't you say!! -

Matty Gilmore is/was certainly under consideration but its the Number 4 position average that will dictate the final riders. -

What have fans of Ipswich or Belle Vue got to do with the argument? They are Premiership and all 3 Premiership clubs have happily re-signed the 3 riders. Fans of Sheffield, Birmingham and Newcastle would have had Poole's 2020 top 3 back like a shot if they all stayed Championship or had no doubts about their future. -

No one is saying Poole's top 3 are the best, just that they are stronger than some of those you mentioned. "King and Worrall won't improve much if any" can only be your opinion which is not shared by others - Simples! -

Not sure until the fixtures come out. The date was announced before the decision to go Championship!! -

You can't get a lot stronger with all 3 heat leaders being Number 1's in their respective 2019 teams and also riding Premiership!! -
Especially as it will be slightly cheaper to attend too!!

..and as he won't be there he won't know 600 or 1600?!

The options keep changing for the 4 & 7. The number 4 rider has yet to sign the contract which has been on the table (and improved!) for around 3 weeks and he is not new to the Championship!! If he does sign then the number 7 will likely be a young Brit who is also no stranger to the Championship. However there is still the option for an untried 5.00 rider and another. -

Someone's been polishing their crystal ball!!!! But it all depends on the Number 4 rider's average.............! -

35-40 points a meeting for the 3 heat leaders doesn't need much for the other 4 to get. -
Oh wow I don't think i've heard that one before!!?? Much! Apart from almost every other Gav post! Seriously can't keep away. Sad really!

T**t.

I'm sure the club will maintain its highly successful 'it's not how you start it's how you finish' policy.
-
There are more than enough ready to do that on here without me chipping in. If I have an issue with MF then i'll raise it with him one to one. It's been like that since he took over.

More than happy with the 3 heat leaders (who are all Premiership riders) and who I expect the two reserves to be. I gather there is a bit of a rethink with the number 4 position which may affect the final reserve. Neilsen also needs to prove he's not injury prone. With Danny Ford taking a much more hands on role with the day to day running if the club and a much more vibrant social media output - yes well pleased so far and renewed my deal with Danny today!!

Anyway back on track Poole to announce their 5th rider (thats the Number 5!) at 7pm this evening. I'll leave this on the Premiership section as it will be another rider from a Premiership team that is double-downing!

Please don't stoop to his level of personal insults!! He clearly has some sort of big bag of King Edwards on his shoulder about me, other Poole fans and all things to do with Poole!! -
Hey Dandelion thanks for the kind words - just for info it was announced that Stefan Neilsen (4.40) will start at 2 for Poole rather than reserve. I'm not into predictions at this stage as I'm not knowledgeable enough of the other SGBC teams.

Nothing to do with police. Let's simply say there was an unfortunate error with his visa application paperwork 2 years ago at a time when his off track issues were at their peak and the visa authorities would not allow him to reapply for a minimum of 2 years. He tried to get a different (restricted) visa last year which would have allowed him to work here but that was also turned down. All should be ok now but any application now will be treated along with any other. The fact he is an ex World Champ carries no weight at all.
