  1. Yes but what about the 20 meeting rolling average? Incidentally on the subject of reserves, Paul Starke is in a rich vein of PL form and confidence at the moment and his EL scores have improved so he could even be the trump card tomorrow?!
  2. He's already had a stint as Australia U21 Team Manager.
  3. Not heard anything - and don't expect to as far as Poole are concerned as they did absolutely nothing wrong. To be fair to the SCB they are usually very prompt in making their announcements - assuming there is anything to announce?! I guess any wording would have to be 'agreed' by all concerned especially GSI and Coventry!!
  4. You must have been gutted when he became World Champion whilst riding for Poole!!?
  5. Wrong again! Collected from his flight at Heathrow by his long-term girlfriend and driven straight to Swindon for practice. Dedication I would say!
  6. No further news from his girlfriend either who left Bournemouth at 1330 to collect him from Heathrow!!
  7. No. The race times were pretty good with Poole making the gate 9 times out of 10 or maybe that should be 11 times out of 15!
  8. Has merit in principle - but it does depend who is on the committee?!
  9. Isn't the situation at Belle Vue different to other clubs as to whose responsibility it is? After the debacle of the 'rain-off' due to riders missing flights in 2013, weren't the BV promotion told that as part of their punishment any future call offs (for at least 2 years?) had to be done by an SCB official?!
  10. Just remind everyone again who the Chair of the SCB is???!!
  11. Howarth isn't out of a job though is he?! He's still earning in the PL and guesting at Poole this evening!! PS as this thread is in the International and SGP section, I wonder which riders are to be 'dropped' by Torun and Piraterna for Darcy to get a ride?!
  12. Surprised kelvin didn't make any mention of it!!?
  13. Still in Oz at the moment training at the gym - so still waiting for visa and/or flight!!!
  14. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting - bearing in mind who is currently on the SCB!!
  15. Perhaps it is - its just the various 'statements' that give the situation a different slant!!
  16. To be fair, a highlights package is more than sufficient - whichever leagues are being shown!!
  17. I think there is a 'longer term plan' as far as the EDRs go, but it surely has to be a bit 'provisional' depending on how the EDR riders perform each season. I guarantee that there will be some Grade A EDRs who will want to stay EDRs rather than be promoted into the 1-5 next year - just as there were at least a couple of EDRs that wanted to be 2nd strings this year but weren't allowed to by their promoters because the club ©wouldn't guarantee them a 1-5 place this year!!
  18. EDRs don't count as double-uppers. The proposal - if it goes through - is to have at least one Brit from the EDR as a second string. Whether that affects how the EDR system works in the future we shall have to see.
  19. Probably at least 3 from next season if BSPA stick to their proposal at the AGM!!!
  20. So Lakeside arrive with Milik for Nilsson; Howarth for Bech and Wilkinson for Birks. Should be a good meeting. I bet the viewing figures for Sky's Berwick v Peterboro meeting will be down!! Should be a great Poole welcome home for Magic and Noddy!
