So Buzz on 6.48 is a heat leader but Watt (if he is signed) is a second string??! Don't think so - but then I don't think it'll be Holder and Watt anyway. But would be happy if I'm wrong.
-
King is on an identical average (6.48) to Poole's new heat leader Buzczkowski so Q.E.D. I guess?! Anything other than heat leader would just be cheating manipulating the rules wouldn't it??

Confirmed Elite League Signings 2016

Danny King 6.48 to Coventry -
THJ is a Title winner with Poole and a Poole asset and on 5.69 (I think) he would be another steal!! He actually wanted to do a full season in 2014 but unfortunately didn't fit the numbers game at the time.
-
Matt Ford states that Buzz will start as a heat leader and expects him to stay a heat leader! So with speculation from one or two that Brady Kurtz is a 'shoe-in' on 5.24, that leaves 15.23 for the final 2.

Yes a 6.48 heat leader. The Readypower connection works again!!!!
-
This season just gone the points limit was 40.5 with the 2 EDRs taking 6.5 of those points. In 2016 the points limit is still 40.5 but in many cases (including Poole) the reserves take up in excess of 7 points - so in real terms the points limit is reduced for the 1-5s!! And guess what, every team starts with the same opportunities. (EDIT: I see others have posted similar.)

Scott is a heat leader in the final BSPA averages even though he rode as a second string in the final against Poole. Agree about Josh G!!! Also THJ as a second string - now he's not in the GPs!!!?
-
Or judging by everyone else's opinion of KK we could have him instead of Antonio - just to even things out a bit!!!! Edit: beat me to it Lisa-Colette.

.....stands back and waits......................

Speedway Star averages mean nothing in team building!!

KK has signed a 2 year deal at Gdansk in Poland!

Great news for Bees fans. Its his spiritual home!!
-
I think KK was on 8.39 last time he raced in EL in 2012?? Having been away for more than a while, like any other similar rider, he would probably get a reduction?!
-
He had as much influence as all the other promoters - just not as Chairman!!!
-
He was - but not on Saturdays.

Don't Doyle and NKI both live in the UK?!

3 AGMs???? The main reason the AGM was in 2 parts is a constitutional one. The BSPA constitution (like most other associations) will state that the AGM must be on a specific date or in a specific month. When BSPA tried to do the decent thing and make some decisions earlier than usual ie in October, someone forgot that the Constitution says November - which is why the AGM had to be re-convened (and I'm sure the Constitution updated!!). We do know the number of EL clubs - 8. We do know the number of fixtures - just look at some of the club season ticket prices for the number of meetings (although that does raise the question of whether it is right to announce season ticket prices before teams are known??!) In many respects - from an administrative point of view - the BSPA is no different to any other national association. Its meeting minutes are made available to its members (the Promoters) and a statement/press release is issued to the public/media if and when appropriate as a summary of their key decisions. We are still a couple of weeks ahead of previous years.

Matt Ford recently said there would be EL squads by 2017, having been pushing for it for several seasons!! Yet it suddenly becomes a proposal full of support because another promoter has suggested it!! Anyway, so a new rider to lead the Pirates according to the Echo article - I wonder.............??!

Poland 2016 Season Extraleague News

But if Poland/Sweden go 't!!t$-up', then the British clubs will have a far stronger negotiating hand!! -
I think you are confusing what the PL averages were used for?! They are used for team building points within the 40.5. They were not used to rank the order of the Tier 1 list. The last/latest EDR list (as usual maintained by Neil Vatcher) has Newman as 2nd behind Garrity. With Garrity not in the draft and Newman protected by Poole, Poole would have had the last or 2nd to last pick of the tier 2 reserves, having firstly checked rider/fixture availability.
